Michelle - that list is huge - hope you manage it and hope Charlie is feeling better - it's awful when they are sick - you just wish you had it rather than them! - can I be nosey and ask what - shop & scan is??
Solwaykid - hope you are feeling better soon - have a good rest this weekend!
Dustykitten - I haven't been on MSE long but this is by far my favourite thread!!
I like Friday's best as my DD's room used to be a nightmare but now I do it every Friday and it seems to keep tidy and clean much better - it was a big cause of stress that just isn't there any more!
Thanks for everyones support on here
Have a lovely weekend all x0 -

You're right, I haven't had tosilitis for years infact haven't been ill for over a year. Think I've forgotten how to listen to my body or maybe I've just been telling it to shut up! I'm a big believer in the body as a whole rather than a set of symptoms - maybe a sore throat is me not verbalising something I need to. I shall ponder that one! And look up Babelfish.. interesting.. Moneybubbles welcomehope you find this helps
Michelle, that's one heck of a list honey, don't frazzle yourself out, actually my list should probably be that long but I really don't dare type it all at the minute
I'm really pleased that this has also become other peoples fave thread, mine toothanks to everyone for making it what it is.
Well, I have made a decision, to take every last minute offered of the extension on the assignment and hand it in on Monday. Doing it personally gives me the weekend to finish little bits I have skipped through and double check it all, or I'd have to post it tomorrow at the latest.
Swimming wasn't too stressful, afterwards took kids to see my friend (they adopted her as an aunty since they were little) and they played up, grrr! Ended up with DS2 hurting himself, never learn do they! I feel like I have neglected her lately, she is pregnant but a few weeks after finding out her father was diagnosed with terminal cancer, poor girls holding up well, am arranging to catch up with her next week when she's off and the boys are at school so can have a proper chat.
Dogs are now playing up, inc puppy messing in the hall she should be past this by now as she's about 8 months old!! and have knocked allsorts flying so they got in bother (then I felt guilty as if the clutter wasn't there they wouldn't have knocked it over) housework has been on hold and boyyyyy can you tell! Will have to do some tomorrow as it's starting to make me extremely unsettled
Must go, need to sort uniforms etc, DS1 has to be at school for 8.10am tomorrow, some exercise thing, we struggle to get there for 8.45am usually so wish me luck :rotfl:One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Apologies from me for not flying nor updating today, puppy took ill this morning and is being checked out for a urine infection - yes I had to chase him around to get a sample any other day it would be funny but not this one - we will find out tomorrow but he is very sorry for himself.
Kids haven't meant to be trying but they have so apart from hoovering the bathroom and doing dailies nothing else to report from this household although we do seem to have a working PC and new emails set up so not all bad - I think OH took pity and reattached me to the wonders of email.
Will look at list tomorrow once I see how the day is going.0 -
I've had quite a lazy evening today, watched some tv, sorted out some more of my website (that's a never ending task in itself) and took the hoover for a walk around upstairs, haven't braved the stairs and hallway yet. No kids rooms or spare rooms for me tomorrow, but have the downstairs bathroom to do.
Just been taking a look at the flylady site, like you do. If anyone needs any help with the pamper task, there's a whole load of ideas here and here. This page is also an interesting read, the wierdest things that people have flung out, though I'm not sure about the guy who kept his fingers in the freezer.
solwaykid - Hope you feel better soon, my sister used to get tosilitis whenever she was run down or stressed.
lil_me - good luck with getting the assignment finished, and don't stress too much about the housework, it'll all still be there next week.
broomstick27 - yay for not having to spend money on a new hoover
michelle - that list is huge !! Be careful you don't collapse in a heep.
Moneybubbles - welcome, hope this thread is of as much benefit to you as it is to me.

WM has just finished, and DH had pulled a crafty and gone to bed without changing the cat litter tray, so i have just done that, and got baby breakfast stuff ready for tomorrow too so we can crack on from the second our eyes open.
Some things for tomorrow are more important than others, so i will make sure i prioritise, and only do what i feel up to, and what Charlie will not mind me doing.Michelle - that list is huge - hope you manage it and hope Charlie is feeling better - it's awful when they are sick - you just wish you had it rather than them! - can I be nosey and ask what - shop & scan is??
Shop and scan is a survey thing. Basically every time i buy anything i have to scan the bar code and how much i spent, and then i transfer the data to the survey company via the internet once a week, for me on a Friday. For this i earn the princely some of a £1 a week, which i save up to claim vouchers - usually debenhams ones as i am saving up for a light for my dining room which is £150, to match the one we bought for the living room.
Anyway, now i've done my lot for the day, i'm heading to bed. Hopefully to sleep better than last night.
lil-me sending speedy vibes to you to get there on time tomorrow.
solwaykid hope the tonsils are easier tomorrow. Good excuse to eat ice-cream though if you ask me, and last time i went to somerfields i got a box of 6 proper cornettos for £1. Delicious, although unfortunately they were eaten too quickly, especially when i'm supposed to be being good to fit in the next bridesmaids dress in 5 weeks.
Anyway, good night. Sweet dreams, and i will be back after i have done a few jobs tomorrow.
Michelle, x0 -
Morning all :hello: Am I glad it's Friday, I really need a lie-in! Last night I decided to have a bath after I'd done all the jobs so after washing/drying my hair, seeing to DD (who has a stinking cough/col and I suspect the start of a throat & water infection) I finally managed to get in the bath at 11.50pm  Out I get at midnight, get myself sorted and just put my bum into bed with the light off and covers up when OH comes running up the stairs like a mad man wanting to know what house number next door is (Terraced street which he's lived in for 7 years and still manages to get the house numbers wrong :rotfl: ) as someone has set fire to something in the alleyway  Oh and where are the keys to the back gate. Almost asleep me ends up getting up again and finding the keys (which I thought I had moved but I haven't
) and then opening the backgate in my bare feet and nightie
By this point OH has phoned the fire bridage and we realise the only way they can get through is to come through our house as the alleyway has an alleygate on it ( lovely things : http://www.neighbourhood.gov.uk/embedImage.asp?id=1811 only ours is just a single gate not a double like in the picture ) so we have to wait for the fire brigade to arrive so we can let them through  So last night, a little after midnight I had two chunky firemen walking through my houseJust glad there was no washing laying about and that I'd put my dressinggown and slippers on :rotfl: Finally got into bed only for OH to come to bed and put the big light on and disturb me so it was gone 1am before I managed to get anywhere near sleep and then I was up at 6.30
OH is coming home early today so he can take the car in to the Ford garage to find out whats wrong with it. So any jobs need to be done early.

Hi all,
I've not posted in a few days, but have been flying!
Well sort off... I've not been following lil-me's list but done my own thing as it needed doing and I had time.
It just seems like the weeks get crazier here as time goes by!
This morning I've done:
Kitchen swipe (part of dailies I suppose)
Had a good hoover around the living room and tackled two hotspots. One is my new dresser, which everybody seems to think is great for storing crap on, and the other is a wee corner in my LR. By the window, behind the curtain..
Dust, crap, boxes and discarded art work from the children seems to collect there and I've managed to avoid it for weeks now..
Now it's clean again! It strikes me as very odd that I can feel so happy with just this tiny corner of my LR being clean!! I'm weird!
I've done the toilet as well by the way, and I'm off to swipe the bathroom when I'm done here and with my cup of coffee.
Tomorrow I plan on tackling the girl's room upstairs as it's a tip! Yesterday when I put rugrat to bed I noticed this big fluff of dust, hair and crap in the corner behind the door, and I'm SO ashamed!! UGH!! Well, you can't expect anything else with 4 girls sharing one room, but it drives me NUTS!
The kids have slipped back into: "hotel living" mode. They think this is a hotel, and I"m the maid, the cook, the waitress and everthing else!
I was really angry at 14 yr old DD1 yesterday. She was home alone for a wee while yesterday afternoon, and decided to make herself some porridge.. except she used my Scottish oats (that I had brought from SCOTLAND!) made WAY too much, and tipped an entire pot full into the sink! I don't mind if she eats and enjoy's it, but to just throw it away like that!! That kills me! And the fact that I just had to have the pipes unclogged last week made for a very unhappy mummy!
Well, telletubbies is starting, so that gives me 20 minutes to go wild upstairs as little rugrat is glued to the tv for that time.
Catch ya later!

Morning all
Hope everyone had a good nights sleep and is feeling better today
Not done upstairs yet but so far I have:-
S & S lounge
S & S kitchen
S & S bathroom
Put BM on - Rolls for lunch
Done breakfasts & tidied up
Hoovered downstairs
Made DH doc apt
Last night I ironed the bedding that was washed last Friday. Also all kiddies clothes ironed so that needs putting away later when i do the bedrooms.
DD1 is much improved and the cough disappeared yesterday during the day and was none in the night. The littles seem determined to cause me to have a nervous breakdown this morning. DD2 has this high pitched screech she uses when DD1 does anything to her (or looks at her, or breathes in the same room as her this morning it seems it seems  ).
Right off for a coffee I think0
