hey spiddy!!! flying = something to do while waiting for the Amazon fairy to come visiting!!!

Hehe, I think I have buried her under a pile of washing!

Am quite proud of myself, I have managed to do:

Main bedroom: tidy, strip bed (bedding has been washed though not dried), hoover mattress, make bed, hoover floor
DS1 bedroom: tidy, strip bed, hoover mattress, dust, hoover floor including under bed , change bedding (bed not made as mattress is airing)
Guest room: hoover (tidied it yesterday)
Landing: dust bannisters and windowsills, hoover

Also the daily stuff: surface clean and tidy the kitchen, surfuce clean downstairs loo and basin, put washing on, do everything I am commanded by two LOs.

OUr bedroom looks gorgeous, can't wait to get in that lovely clean bed tonight, mmmmmmmmmmm :D

I've tidied Owen's room and will change the bedclothes in a bit, but for the second week running, I'll ignore the deep clean :o . Naughty Mara. Not that Owen minds, the dust means that he has somewhere to practice his writing without having to search for paper and pen :rotfl: .

Could you get Owen to flick a feather duster around ? Though if he likes the dust probably not.

    Afternoon all!

Welcome to our new flyers. Hugs to all.

I have been enjoying today as me time (thanks lil_me) as yesterday i was offered and accepted a job and i start immediately :j . Today was my last day of freedom!!! So ive been shopping and had lunch with a friend and found some wooden hangers (£5 for 20 in Primark) and have been through my wardrobe putting things on the new hangers. Dont ask how but it has made me feel better!!!

Im so glad for the flylady as i know when i go back to work that i will be able to keep my house looking fab and not loose my weekends to the blitz that normally happened as i hadnt done anything all week.

Have a lovely weekend everyone and see you all on Sunday night / Monday morning for our next installment of OS Flylady. (Do you reckon we could produce a novel and sell it on the weird and wonderful lives we all have?!?!? an OS version of desperate housewives?)

Congrats on your new job aimee, that's fab news.:T

Managed to get my list done today.
Pleased I did the garden jobs first because it's been raining on and off since shortly after I finished.

Also had time to check off my spending against my bank statement on line and I've got all the ironing up to date.
Had half an hour feet up reading before I went to collect DS from school.
I'm reading 'Diary of a Slummy Mummy', it has made me laugh out loud a couple of times.

Vegetable lasagne and jacket potatoes cooking away in the oven for tea.

Among jobs for the weekend will be asking DH to put the boxes in the loft that have been waiting to go for the last few weeks and to get our suitcases down in preparation of our hols.

Have a lovely evening and hope everyone gets a bit of pampering or 'me' time.

well done aimee!!!! congrats and hope you are very happy :)

Congrats spiddy as well - way to go for your first attempt!

Just a brief visit as am off to dog training - my "babies" are getting ready for their Bronze test in a couple of weeks time so need to make sure they all know what is expected on the night.

Did the Dyson dance and all the ironing and the coconut rice pud was great though could have done with less time I think - a bit gloopy! Did the shoes too so all my chores finished for today AND tomorrow though we have a viewing tomorrow so morning will be spent S&S'ing everywhere and going to the PO! Web page almost done - just the menu to sort so will be up tomorrow, and 2 more pages of my Amazon listings checked.

    phew!!

Everyone have a great weekend and don't forget the "me" task!"

Again a very basic flying day from me today, so much for thinking that yesterday was a bad day today started at 5.30 (instead of 7) and hasn't improved until now.

Puppy still not great today so i took him for an emergency appointment a tthe vet, they decided to keep him in to run 'tests' (his eyes were swollen and wouldn't open and he definetly wanted to be left alone would not respond if we went near and generally spent all the time sleeping), the vet reckoned that it was a eye infection but that shouldn't have knocked him out as much.

While he was at the vet's I decided to do the weekly shop - I forgot my list and wnet round the shop in a daze although I only over spent by £15(partly due the bottle of white that I added for tonight) and seem to have got most things.

Puppy got the all clear from vet's this after he does have a eye infection and also a virus and between the two it has knocked him so he know has eye drops three times a daily and antibiotics twice, he has been more alter since he came home to fingers crossed he will be better tomorrow. boston-uk
he has just passed his bronze award so i know what you are going through.

Flying wise - school uniform is in the wash, shopping done, main rooms hoovered and kitchen S&S. I will play catch up over the weekend, Oh offering to take the girls out for a bit tomorrow to let me catch up, away to but kids to bed and then open wine and catch up with 24 and ncis.

Well done aimeelister, that's great news!

You're right shirleypark, I bet he'd love to have a flick round with my big pink feather duster and he's definitely had his wee eyes on my betty boop aprons!

Congrats on the new job aimeelister
jjef- I hope the puppy is better soon
tinselfairy - my garden list just isn't getting done, it's only stopped raining here since last weekend when I've been at work or asleep, and this weekend doesn't look much better, though atleast I haven't had to water the plants. Looking out of the kitchen window my tomatoes and onions appear to be loving all this rain.
spiddy100 - do you have the ironing fairy there as well ? If you do, can you send her in my direction please, and well done on your first attempt at flying.
poohbear59 - enjoy your day tomorrow
maralum - I love the idea of a picnic breakfast.

Once again I've done nothing this evening. I've had such a stressful hectic week at work this week that I think my brain melted at lunch when I finally managed to get the last major issue sorted out. I had a target date for completing the work of today, and I managed to get it done by lunch so that was cool. I have a new guy starting in a couple of weeks so once he's up to speed things should ease off a bit at work as we'll have a full team again. Though I guess that will probably mean that people start expecting us to get more work done. I think I need to start flying at work as well, maybe then I'll keep on top of everything that needs doing without resorting to spending my weekends catching up on emails !

As the weekend looks like it's going to rain for the entire time, I'm going to ditch the garden jobs until another week, and get on with some other things this weekend instead.
