Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread, usually ran by Moggins but I'm just filling in temporarily. If you need help organising your week when it comes to housework, or just the motivation to do the dreaded housework tasks you have to do, come and join us, hopefully make it a little easier. You never know, you might start to enjoy it!
As promised here is the new style Flylady thread. Following requests to start things steadier for new members who did not realise the tasks list wasn’t a must do, just an encouragement.
There will now be level 1, 2 and 3. Level 1 being very basic it has been requested that this is just one task per day, level 2 in the middle, up to 3 which is more advanced and time consuming. If you want to do level 2 you add the tasks on level 1 with the level 2 tasks, if you want to do level 3 you add the tasks on, easy peasy. Choose a level to aim for but be realistic, if you’ve got a busy day on or are just starting etc aim for level one, if you get higher then great, if not then not to worry its only suggestions. Every room comes back around next week. Trust me some days I'll only be doing level one myself.
THESE LISTS ARE ONLY SUGGESTIONS AND NOT A MUST DO LIST, ALWAYS WELCOME TO POST AND FOLLOW YOUR OWN.
Also adding a declutter mission each day. Another one where it’s up to you if you want to do it or if you need to. This follows requests from members who are looking to declutter. Fling boogies, hotspot clearing, cupboard sorts, drawer sorts etc will all be on this list. Any problems with this of any suggestions do please let me know.

A few of the basics before we start the week
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining RoomLevel One
Hotspots are any areas which if one thing gets put there loads of other things follow!
Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc
Nighttime routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.
27 Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a binbag and whizz around the house finding 27 items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.

Also had my 'me time' tonight, had a bath and then put DS in with me so DH could put him to bed and then have scrubbed, buffed, fake tanned, polished, cleansed every inch - I look half human again instead of a 'slummy mummy':rotfl:Lightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

I'm still lurking and flying though not always posting. just had a quick whizz through last weeks thread and realised the last time I posted I needed a big KICKShirleyPark wrote: »Is this a big enough kick ?

Shirley provided it and I was never seen again for the rest of the week :rotfl:
While I was looking I noticed a few littlies with paint/pens had been at work and you'd all been scrubbing away the handiwork. I have a good one for you...... last week dd (4yo) was waving grandma off at the back gate and ds (2yo) was upstairs calling me. As the gate was locked I left her to it and went to get ds. Two minutes later I found dd had etched a picture in the UPVc back door with a sharp stone. Now admittedly it was very artistic but I was so upset I couldn't speak to her, not even to tell her off, and went and cried in the bathroom. I don't think I'm going to get that off...... unless anyone has any brilliant ideas."all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..."0 -

Evening everyone,
Been busy this weekend doing nothing!!!! Well, the house is tidy(been swishing and swiping, plus a bit of hoovering) but not much else. Did sort out a huge pile of paperwork this afternoon tho, so that was good.
Not sure how i will get on tomorrow, as new LO is starting and i know im not going to get much chance to nip off and get things done (shame!!!) but hopefully when school is finished, i might do something then (or if LO has a sleep, but then i might do some baking with the older ones).
Anyway, site due to go down in a bit, so hopefully i will catch up with everyone sometime tomorrow.
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Morning all
DS3 keeps dreaming and waking me up and now I cannot get back to sleep so having a cuppa and catching up.
HopeElizzy - Hi the only thing which might help your door is one of those Flash eraser things - I have found these amazing for getting marks, scratches, pen etc off of paintwork, Astonish paste may also help.
Nicki Homework and some children just don't sit well, some need a lot of thinking time. Even my eldest now works best if we chat through the task before he settles down to do it.
Lil-me Glad the fishing was ok, I hope next time when it is not quite so new he can settle for a little longer.
Another post to follow for planning tomorrow then hopefully I can go back to sleep although I don't feel sleepy. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Morning all,
I missed the last 24 hrs of posts, so I do apologise if someone needs a hug and I don't offer one. Here's a free one just in case :grouphug: .
DH and I have been super busy this weekend. We bought and built a new shelf unit and it's now filled with all of Freya's belongings, so things are looking much better :j . We also moved all of our shoes into the wardrobe, so the shoe rack has now been converted into a bookshelf in our bedroom (apparently, it's bad chi to keep your shoes by the door). I even partially dealt with the temple of doom(AKA the airing cupboard) because so many of baby's clothes were in there and have now gone on her shelves!
I haven't got much else to report, I'm afraid. We still haven't been brave enough to leave the house and we're super-tired, but super-happy.
Will try to get the list done today, but cannot be held responsible if I nod off half way through! :rotfl:
