I'm still lurking.. and we are on to day 3 of torrential rain so I might just go back to bed with DD5 once I get back from school.. seeing as I have slept 22 of the last 29 hours and am still shattered!!

Oops. Fell asleep on the sofa after my last post and only just woke up! A m feeding baby as I type one-handed and feeling guilty as I missed picnic time with Owen :o . Bless him, all he said was "It's ok mummy, you looked very snoozy". I am a very lucky woman. :D

I'm going to attempt a trip into town today as I have jobs to do up there - bit daunting though. The attitude towards breastfeeding is a little backward around here - that's right, they think that I should let my baby starve because they're pervs that can't stop staring  ! I'm very discreet and if I can make it to the mothercare changing rooms, I do - I'm very fussy about who sees my "cherries"! ;)

Will catch up later as my list needs updating (I should say "if" really). Happy flying and hugs to all.

    Hi all

Will at the very least get all my surfaces wiped over today! Got my parents descending for a few days, will be fantastic to see them but they don't half make a mess  So having jumped on the Flylady bandwagon last week I might fall off for a few days.

HopeElizzy , I don't know whether Barkeeper's Friend might be worth a try on your DD's artwork? It's meant to be miracle stuff and can be used on plastics.

Maralum, have you got a poncho? I know they're trendy like they were before but they're great for discreet feeding, especially if you have a nosy baby like my two who break off feeding and crane their necks to look around, leaving you exposed to the elements!

You kill me spiddy, I can just see your babies nosing around, leaving you wondering when it got so draughty! Great idea on the poncho, with Owen, I used to carry a shawl with me, but he used to get so hot, a poncho would be much better. Thanks.

Morning all - well cheated a bit as I knew it would be kitchen and did the above crossed out jobs while hubby bathed LO last night after tea!

Oven still clean as I have been keeping on top of it since I did it - just need to iron tablecloth and mats and put back on table and clean window later!

Maralum - it was ages before I managed to go out anywhere with the LO and other 2 kids - it was lovely just stopping in the house - especially as it was winter,

Shirley - thanks for the links to flylady pages - I wondered what the site was like - a bit too much to read for me! but the little links are great!

Hugs to everyone else and happy flying xx

Just got back from school run - it is still pouring with rain.
As I was soaking wet I stopped in the garden to pick my beloved peonies to go in a vase before they get ruined, they look lovely with some euphorbia.

Boston Stardrops is fab. I get mine in ASDA about 54p. I went to get some on Friday and 2 people were standing looking at all the bottles of expensive cleaner reading them all. I leaned in and took my 2 bottles. They put their stuff back and picked up the stardrops. It is yellow - in a clear bottle with the spray cleaner stuff. The only way I can describe it is like powerful washing up liquid. I use it mainly for mopping floors (add after the water is run or it is too bubbly) and neat on stubborn marks etc.

Maralum - I know what you mean about the breastfeeding, its always the ones who have a problem with it that cannot stop staring. If I see something I dont like I dont look at it. My DD's used to like whipping their heads round to look at what was going on (bit painful that one, especially as they used to carry on sucking at the same time:eek: ). It is lovely thought and I do miss that oneness BUT I WILL NOT GET BROODY!!!! Looking through my memory box yesterday with their first babygrows and shoes etc got me all mussy too!

Right off to put oven racks in the bath to soak, make a cuppa and put BM on.
