morning everyone, not been around for a few days but looking at my living room and kitchen it looks more like a few months . got a huge wake up call last night at 9pm when i went to get something off the breakfast bar it tends to get used for clutter but that will end from today anyway scurrying all over it were ANTS:eek: quite a lot of them a bottle of vanilla essence had fell off the shelf the lid fell off and it was dripping everywhere so i imange thats what attracted them , so had to clean and ant spray everywhere.
so the kitchen will this morning get a complete going over once i'v drank my cuppa that is:D .

    Morning everyone.

The kitchen has been done, even the bottom of the oven! Squirted it with vinegar and sprinkled bicarb on top and it worked a treat.

Sorted a bag of clothes not suitable for the charity shop into a bag to take to the recycling bin later.

DH has hoovered all the floors already so when I've finished wiping the surfaces and tidying I can get on and wash the floors.

Also sorted the shoe rack. DH had 7 pairs on it and being a size 12 they took up a lot of room. He's got rid of one pair and packed another pair away in the wardrobe so now we have a bit more space out there.

Right now to finish the dining room.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

    Hi

Right I have done enough reading.

I am going to dive in and start some of the tasks. I have been lurking for ages and thought that i had to follow the list rigidly. Then i had a mini LBM and realised that i can adapt to my circumstances.

My house needs sorting big style. I have got a grip with my finances/meal planning/shopping and have even brought Stardrops. Now it is time to forge strongly ahead and clean and organise my House.

Many thanks for your inspiration :T

  • One thing I won't need to do this week is test the smoke alarms, I managed to set them off at 7.30 this morning and couldn't get it to shut up !

Don't think I was too popular.

Have tidied my desk at work a bit, just need to grab some files from downstairs to keep all the printouts for different project together.
