Is there any way you can slide the glass out so you could soak it in the bath with a strong solution? I know not all ovens make that possible.

As for the elbow grease lacking ... maybe you could save the task for when you have a pmt week, or for when your OH ticks you off? I find I'm most industrious at those times :whistle: :shhh:

Next stop clear out all my project folders within my email as there's probably lots of stuff in there that I don't need anymore.

Nor can I.. and stardrops sets me off sneezing for ages.. especially if I use it in the spray bottle.. I dilute some in the spray to use on the cooker top and table and worksurfaces.. works a treat.. but REALLY makes me sneeze.. I have a bandana which I wear like a mask when using it.. that works!!!

I came home on Saturday night after talking to someone in the pub whose aftershave or deodourant hated me.. my eyes were all puffy and itching and watery.. like I had conjunctivitis.. great isn't it!?

Just having a quick break, done half the kitchen so far although a friend rang and she can talk so was on phone for a while.
Pulled freezer out and can't beleave how much stuff gets dropped behind it so that all done.Just making a start on my pull out trolley which is full of everything from cookery books to light bulbs i'm hoovering and mopping as i go around the kitchen bit by bit.Need to get pasta on for lunch as dd2 comes home early from school today and will be wanting food.so will catch up with everyone in a bit.

I've had my sit down, the little rugrat is in her bed... had a tomato/cottage cheese sandwich and even left the tempting mayo IN THE FRIDGE!!

I seem to have all the dry weather here so taking advantage and i have just hung out the third wash. Out for the afternoon now but will aim to clear lil_me's list this evening.

Hooray for shirleypark's tidy desk! I know it's been a bug bear of yours for a while now, maybe flying is the way to do everything. , Fly-style cooking, fly-style parenting, fly-style seduction...we could become an army of super-efficient flyladies, making the world cleaner, safer and much nicer smelling! Of course, just keeping my house clean would be a flipping miracle, so maybe my ambitions should be a little smaller.

Welcome yellowmonkey, if you're anything like the rest of us, this thread could end up being your saving grace. We come in for chatter, cleaning tips, a good old moan and generally just a bit of a laugh - I hope you like it here.

No joy on the list yet, but we made it into town and did all of our shopping, so that's a weight off my mind. Right, I'm off to clean, so I'll see you all later.
