What are you moaning about sister :confused: You have a dishwasher!!!
    I don't..;)
    I will swap you.....

Still have kitchen to finish, washing to put away, and the sock bag is shouting: sort me, sort me.. Do you think if I ask my teenage DD she will say: Sure mum, I will sort and match up all the socks... (and pigs might fly):rolleyes2

    Yeah, I've got a dishwasher, I know..I'm lucky.
It's all done again now, thank goodness.
And I have seen pigs fly, as ofthen as I have seen any of my children volenteering to do household jobs!!

I'm afraid she lost interest after ironing two pearl bead love hearts...

Hello Busy Bees and welcome Newbies,

Bit of a late start for me today. Called in at huge Tesco on my way home from work for prescription and cat food and while I was waiting for the prescription I had a wander. Ooops.. I came away with 2 french lavender and 3 marguerites, all reduced enormously and all dying. Had to put them in the ground as soon as I got in. And I forgot the cat food.

Kitchen wasn't too bad but I think I need to start including the pantry as I don't have a dining room and it's looking forlorn. I'll get to the oven after supper. Yes, I've made that mistake before. Soaked all the racks and gas hob bits in the bath and not made my tea. Foolish girl I am.

Just had my BT bill and discovered that they're charging me full whack for my introductory Broadband. Have to call them tomorrow about that. And the cheeky B's have upped my direct debit from £14 to £29 a month- I only make £3 of calls a quarter too!! It's a crime.

Anyhow, have a useful evening, I may pop back.

    Hiya folks.

The site has been down everytime i have checked today, so i am going to do a quick post now while dinner is finishing off. Not achieved a lot today, as my sister visited with her little boy who is a proverbial pain and leaves the house in a tip, so most of my energy went with their visit, and calming the cats afterwards. He doesn't even have to do anyhting - if they see him he upsets them.

Anyway, hugs to everyone, particularly tracey.

This was my plan and what was done:
    Monday 14/5:
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining RoomLevel One
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces will get done after dinner
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Clean microwave[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]Clean floors[/STRIKE]
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky [/STRIKE]
Wipe window sill, clean any marks off window if required
Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week doesn't need it
    Declutter mission task
15 minutes paperwork sorting, making sure urgent mail is dealt with nothing to do, although i could shred the pile of stuff that is waiting for when the shredder is emptied

    [STRIKE]Deal with post[/STRIKE]
    Make baby bottles
[STRIKE]try to find a wedding reading for sister[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]look for music for sisters wedding[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]make vet appointment for DH for this evening[/STRIKE] for tomorrow
[STRIKE]ring work to make ANOTHER appointment to discuss my hours[/STRIKE] also tomorrow
    [STRIKE]finish marking sample papers[/STRIKE]
mark 15 other papers done 2, need to do some more tonight
send email to supervisor with questions
    make banana and walnut loaf
[STRIKE]run hoover around living room rug[/STRIKE] also went round picking up crumbs after nephews visit

well, the microwave just binged, and that is my cue. I think i am in for a busy evening. DH can do the housework as i have enough other bits to do.

Hi all, jsut about done and tired now due to lack of sleep last night.

Flash Mark and Stain Erasers come in boxes of 2 or 4 I got mine in a supermarket (possibly waitrose) or try somewhere like wilkos. I brought mine ages ago so hope they still do them. It is a block that you wet and then rub on marks - I go round the whole house until it has disintegrated and then bin it.
