Happy birthday Claree
Can anyone/does anyone have any recommendations for places that are pram friendly or baby/Bf feeding friendly in Edinburgh please?
Going up this weekend for Christmas markets with Jack (will be 7 weeks old). I will be taking my wrap too if the pram isn't practical.

happy birthday Claree!
boy am I not looking forward to any sleep regression! I can't do with less sleep! !!0 -
Hope you had a good day Claree, and fingers crossed for a better night today.
Starting to feel Christmassy now, wrapped presents tonight and delivered some pressies today
Never really come across any places that aren't pram/baby/bf friendly, but tend to stop in cosy cafes rather than classy, posh joints. Never been to Edinburgh though.

Depending on what you plan to do in Edinburgh Babamoose, I don't think I'd take the pram, it'l already be very busy with the time of year, couple that with cobbled streets, I can imagine it being a logistical nightmare.
Also I can imagine it would make going for coffee a lot easier. Any coffee shops I have frequented from November at the weekend have been rammed, and without a pram to park would make it easier to get in and get seated.
Have a brilliant time, I'm from Scotland, but not Edinburgh, it is a beautiful city xThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Sorry, not had chance to read back properly, but babamoose take the sling! We went two weeks ago and not only were people looking around the markets a pain with prams/pushchairs getting in the way, I really felt for the LO's so low down in the crowds. Mine was 6 months old then and although heavy for me to carry her all day I was so glad I did. It also made cafes and shopping much easier. X0

Well done on the weight gain Oscar xx
Happy belated birthday Claree!
Little miss has been fed and put back to bed, then I start drifting off and she's sick then has violent hiccups so we are sat up together until they go. Poor girl gets them so often (and it makes night/ morning feeds take upto 2 hours!) she's also full of cold (again!!)
I think I've been overdoing things, my section scar is v sore. Hopefully have a rest this weekend. Everyone ready for Christmas? We still need to get a few presents and food, time is just passing by far too quickly xTrying to save for a deposit

Wrap will definitely be best if on public transport. We went in April, and had to constantly fold our pram away on most buses, was a bit of a nightmare.xDFD February 2012
