I don't know what happened to my post, but I am pleased to say thatLO has gained a whopping 20oz in the past week and isn't going to need admitting to hospital! So relieved and thanks to everyone for the good wishes. We might even put the Christmas tree up now!

That's brilliant :D Go on, put your tree up! :xmastree:

LO seems to be bringing up lots of milk after feeding. Mostly, it's like it pours out of his mouth. He's never done it before- is it because he has a bit of cattarh ?

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hooray Oscar!
Vic3, T went through a stage of that. He's always been a little sicky, but seemed to have a stage of bringing it nearly all up again! Not sure if it's the same sort of time that his suck got stronger/more efficient, so was just feeding too much? (probably about 3-4months?) Doesn't happen now, and didn't seem to bother him at the time :)

Fab news Oscar! Hope you've got something to treat yourself with :j:T

Swimming was great thanks, only second time we've been to that pool but he was straight in there and up the steps to the toddler slides. Didn't even mind when a fountain suddenly started off when he was right underneath it :). He's sound asleep now so I've got a cuppa and contemplating clearing the toys off the floor. Should use the peace to get rid of some I guess. But the sofa is sooo comfy ;)

Thank you. Thomas does seem to be overfeeding- he's a very hungry baby! It doesn't bother him either.

  • Hello ladies

Hope you and lo's are all well

Oscar - was thinking of your weigh in, so glad lo has put weight on
Vic - we had over eating here because of his reflux, the term "sicky baby" just never covered the amount of vom I saw for 6 months lol
Katie - enjoy the swimming, hope he's tired out :)

Day one (full day) of lo wearing his helmet! He looks like a little super man! Only really bothered over it when he's tired and then be gets really needy! He learnt to crawl on all fours yesterday (was dragging himself along the floor before) so today he's crawling over to me and pulling himself up on me for cuddles. It's the cutest thing ever! So wish us luck with the helmet! Only 26 weeks to go!

Fab news Oscar, you must be delighted! Extra mince pies as a reward I think :)

Vic glad it's not just me! Yesterday and today she has projectiled after each feed, spectacularly last night and yet still slept 11pm-6.30 so must've had a full tummy. I think (hope) it just looks like more than it is and we have greedy bubbas! Will ask the doc though on Friday when she has her first jabs.

    Hey vic,

Jack went through this between 3 and 4 weeks and I was a bit worried with the amount he was bringing back up (pretty much every feed)... but he was quite content and not bothered with it, just meant more washing for me...
Anyhoo, he put on weight (10oz in a week) and the HV said he was most likely over eating and as long as there is weight gain and they seem happy - just something we have to mop up!

Now we're at 6 weeks he is barely possetting at all, just the odd one if I catch a burp at a wrong time...

Thanks everyone. He seems quite happy in himself so not too concerned. You've all reassured me xx

  • Hi

having a better day today, LO is now napping in his pushchair and I managed to make tea while he did it!

just a bit of posseting here, no projectile stuff thank goodness, fingers crossed!

Mrs H hope the helmet works well for LO.

Sunshine hope the move went well.

Katie glad LO enjoys swimming. I'm hoping mine will feel better about it in a few sessions.

Way to go Oscar! that's a huge weight gain :)

Claretsgirl the thought of LO moving scares me! hope the dog and tree stay safe lol
