What size are you using. The + sizes I.e 4+ and 5+ aren't actually any bigger they're just more absorbent x

  • Well the digi said not pregnant but have 2 positive superdrug tests so will leave it a few days and use the 2nd digi as have NO idea when my period would have been due or when I ovulated but i'm now confident it wasn't 14 days ago lol.
  • Good morning and thank you for the warm welcome from everyone. It's nice to see one or two familiar names.
Hi saffagal, me and DD are doing brilliant. She is just a joy. How are you getting on?
DDB, that first test certainly looked positive to me so I don't know why the digi would be negative. Best to try again in a few days. If you can hold out that long. If it were me I would be constantly POAS.

  • Gilly I was using 4 but about a week ago went up to 4+ at night which worked for a few nights. LO is only 8.3kg.

My first digi was negative even though I was pregnant at the time of testing - a few days later, a second test was positive. The wait between the first and second test was such a pain though! Keeping my fingers crossed x

Hmmm :( I dunno, we've only started leaking out of 4+ at night now. Does she still feed through the night?

She has a clean nappy at 7pm then feeds to sleep. She'll then go through to anywhere between 6:30 and 8:30 usually with one 15 min feed. Sometimes she'll have an extra feed, sometimes none at all. Think I will try fastening the nappy higher up on her middle - we've been having success with the 4+ until last night

I'll be back later to post properly - hope that everyone is having a lovely day x
  • Hello all again. Well I survived my 1st night on my own with my LO, she slept from 8:15 pm - 3 am was back asleep at 4 am and slept till 7:30 am. I thought perhaps I might have a different night with her if I came across as being nervous being on my own for the 1st time, but obviously I didn't.

Re nappies I use asda little angels, I'm still getting away with using newborn 1 nappies and my LO is 10 weeks old today. Granted two weeks ago when she was weighed she weighed 9lb 14oz though, she was only 6lb 8oz when she was born.

In terms of pregnancy tests I never used a digi one. I bought cheap 99p ones when I was 1 day late on the 19th Jan and then on the 20th went and bought a 'proper' brand and took that as well as another 99p test. Here is the photo to give you an idea of how my 2nd line appeared:

  • Hi - sorry for popping in and asking yet another question - I hope you don't mind!! At some point I will have something useful to contribute :)!

I need to get some nursing dresses, but having trouble finding nursing dresses that aren't also maternity dresses... As much as I miss my bump, it has definitely gone... can anyone recommend somewhere that does nursing clothing for post-maternity clothes wearing mums please?

    Thank you!

I haven't BF so might not be any help but have you tried wraparound type dresses? They have a nice shape on and would allow ease of access. But that might be a useless suggestion :o
