Think we're working on a tooth at the moment too. Not affecting her sleep too much since she's snoring away tucked under my arm - lazy bones! My Debt Free Diary

Morning everyone. Feel like I've not been around in ages, the weekends just seems to fly in and I don't know where they go. Plus with Christmas upon us I seem even more stressed that usual  still not got everything in but thankfully most of A's is wrapped. Speaking of A, he is obsessed with Despicable Me, must have watched it more than 20 times since we bought it a week and a half ago  he gets up in the morning and says 'minions' I bought the snowman the other week, so hoping to try that today for a change of scenery.
Hugs to all of you having bad nights, it's not pleasant at all, so hopefully it settles down for you all soon.
We're off to PO today to post a parcel and then I might pop into library and get some more books for A.
Will best go think I have a horrible nappy to changeThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
We like Despicable Me too
At least part of the fun is listening to two toddlers trying to say 'Despicable'!
We got despicable me 2 recently which is absolutely hilarious, little miss also says minions :j
She did sleep through last night gillybut I had a terrible nights sleep anyway

Thanks for the good wishes ladies
we're so excited, in two months time (hopefully) be sleeping on a bed rather than a sofa bed!
Went to a new soft play this morning, the big frame types rather than just stuff on the floor. Not been to one like that before and I'm worn out! He's not big enough to go by himself so I was crawling round and up and down slides with him!
We did CC at 10 months, once he was eating enough during the day and not feeding properly in the night. agree it's not recommended earlier than 6 really but it really saved me. Also as he's going to be getting his helmet soon any routines are likely to go out the window til he's used to it so it's probably not worth the effort anyway!Newborn thread member

And just thinking re separation anxiety mrsh2b - any chance your OH could try and settle him? G went through a(thankfully fairly brief) phase of not going back off if I went into him, but if OH went in he was back off straight away, as if because I didn't go in in the first place I didn't have to leave, and it's when I went to leave that he went off on one.Newborn thread member

Little miss will settle for OH in the night but not for me
I always have to bring her into our bed, where she fidgets and faffs all night long and keeps me awake!

Having trouble here also with smoking relatives. Haven't taken her round to my grandparents house because of the smoke and apparently they've been moaning to my brother. My nan has been round to see her as she's generally fit and well but my grandad as of last year only has one leg (due to smoking) so doesn't really leave the house.
They never seem to open windows so there seems to be a constant 'mist' of smoke and I simply don't feel comfortable taking DD round there, but they swear blind they only smoke in the kitchen. I really don't think they are aware how much non smokers can smell smoke, or of all the safety advice nowadays surrounding smoking.
I feel awful but LO comes first.0 -
I know controlled crying isn't recommended 'till 6 months so I hope you don't think I was trying to push it on anyone - just saying what worked for us
Working on a tooth in the middle of a growth spurt is such fun! Poor wee soul doesn't know what to think. She's taking an extra bottle during the day (5x7oz now) but I swear she'd eat at any time if I let her! She's rocking her star wrap at the moment
It's my birthday next week - being totally spoiled by oh in terms of birthday and Christmas presents cause I didn't really get much last year and on our anniversary since I was pregnant and the thought of clothes etc just depressed me. Still going for dinner on the Friday night and he's going out on the Saturday but I'll just have to live with it.My Debt Free Diary

Hello ladies,
We moved lo into his cot bed last night, took it down and re built it in our room because I'm not ready to part with him yet. He was so happy with it, rolling around and sitting up in it like a new toy lol!
He also managed to sleep until 2am! Which is better!
Oh tried comforting lo last night when he woke up but he only wanted me. Don't know why, he's been such a daddy's boy recently!
Hope everyone else is wellNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0
