Morning
MrsH, we had flat head issues - I'll post a proper reply this evening as I'm on my phone and it takes ages to type & I can't do links!
Delain, big well done on your weight loss! :T
IHateDida, :rotfl: at your gummy bear comment!
Been meaning to ask - can anyone recommend some good apps (ideally free ones) for an 18-month-old? She likes Noisy Ark, Peekaboo Safari and Undersea Adventure - basically anything involving animals that you can touch and they move and/or make a sound. I've tried her with a few other ones, but she's not yet able to do anything involving pressing, holding and moving things - we're only at pointing stage!
Have a good day all x0 -
Thanks NutellaNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0

Just visited a nursery I was looking at. Rang the bell & no one answered (waited a good 10 mins cause I know they could be busy). Left and tried to call the number and it said it wasn't accepting calls. Probably won't be sending her there! My Debt Free Diary

Claree thanks for the tip re: tesco clothes. Baby yesterday started in newborn clothes (he's a month old today) and has been in Tiny Baby until then. I thought he would be much bigger so only bought couple newborn outfits and loads of 0-3!
Vic - we've had our first green nappy today. Joshua has caught daddy's cold so not sure if it's a normal progression or from the cold.
BabaMoose - I've always put Joshua in his pram during day for a sleep (usually 2-5pm) and Moses basket at night. I've moved his basket from right next to our bed, to 4' away (next to bedroom wall) and he's now sleeping 6.5hrs, quick feed then sleep again for another 3+ hours. He was sleeping 3 to 4 hours max. I read that if baby is bf, he can smell it close by and this can sometimes waken them - defo seems to be true for us. I am enjoying the better sleep! I am naughty though as I do love playing with him and seeing him smile and coo back at me - something that apparently I shouldn't be encouraging during the night.....but he's just too cute.
Kscarlet - congrats! Welcome to the other side. Hope Chloe is doing well. We want pictures!!!

I think I must have an insomniac baby... he just doesn't appear to sleep during the day at all anymore, maybe a half hour nap around 4 or 5pm and that tends to be it until around midnight, then up for about 6am.. then sleeps from around 8-11.
Can't believe they're a month old!Looking grown up (and serious)
I prefer this one but it wouldn't work: http://imgur.com/a/g22GX#vyDHjf5
Getting weighed today since he went back to birth weight of 8lbs 1oz, hoping the feeding has paid off... he is starting to approach 0-3month clothes now. He appears to be quite long-legged as his legs are outgrowing newborn sleepsuits but his top half is quite happy in them...!0 -
Just a quick one from me. My LO hasn't been his usual self for a few days, he's practically sleeping all day whereas he used to be awake most of the day. He's not having solid sleep though, he seems to be drifting in and out of sleep, fussing for a minute or two then falling back asleep for 10 minutes and repeats this cycle over and over for hours. He's not crying and seems quite happy settling himself back to sleep, when he is awake he is yawning and you can see his eyes are tired.
It's a different story come evening time when he becomes devil child, really unsettled and screaming and won't sleep for hours, usually settling around midnight. Then through the night is the same as daytime, very noisy (keeping me awake) wriggling all over the place but not crying and drifting in and out of sleep constantly.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Not sure if its a growth spurt as he's 5 weeks so there is one around this time. I should be thankful he is sleeping so much but I'm not benefiting from it as he keeps me awake with the noise and I'm also a bit worried.0 -
Such a gorgeous pic, baba
Ordered a Christmas card for OH saying "your first christmas as Eilis' daddy" and it's arrived today saying "Eilis's" which looks absurd. I dunno whether messaging the seller would be pedantic? It did just ask for name so I didn't specify Eilis' or eilis's but I thought it was just the standard rules of grammar so would be common sense? It's a seller on not on the high street rather than a company. My Debt Free Diary

I'd contact the seller Claree, but I am quite particular about things like that.
I've not read back properly yet, just wanted to share a proud mommy moment: on Saturday LO started forward crawling and today, after a few weeks of trying, she pulled into standing using the sofa. I missed her actually doing it, so put her down again and watched her repeat it so I know she genuinely can do it! :T I'm proud of LO, but also a bit :eek:0
