Oh poo! I don't mind football usually, but I love I'm a celeb!

Missed Eilis' bedtime cause I was at college - what a horrible feeling! I want to go kiss her goodnight but don't want to wake her :(

I hate I'm a celeb but I think I'd prefer it to watching Celtic tonight

Your footmuff, is it big enough? I want one but worry Aiden may be a bit too big now? He is quite tall looking in the pushchair, his head is at the top!!..xx

My LO is big for her age and is in clothes 2-3 years and 3-4 years, and I had the same worry as you, but the reviews on Amazon had one saying that a 'very tall 3-year-old' that had outgrown their MacLaren footmuff fitted fine into the Kaiser one, and I can believe that. It's big! My LO has plenty of room to grow still, so I'd have thought you'd be fine - you can also unzip the bottom bit and let the feet stick out. If I remember correctly, the more expensive one is 5cm longer.

Thanks Nutella, it seems the difference is the anti-slip material at the back of the footmuff. I have a little while before I need to order it as c is still in his carrycot at the moment, so I will research and see if it works with the icandy.

Ah, OK, in that case I'd say that the anti-slip material is worth the extra £10 - I think it would be really annoying without it! :) Especially as you might be using it for two winters, so that's only an extra £5 per winter for a lot less frustration ;)

Re. dentists - it's reassuring to know that diet is more important than brushing at this age! :) My LO's diet is pretty good and I'm very strict on sugar etc. but we're still not as good at brushing as I'd like. We've got much better - she doesn't scream anymore and she does open her mouth and goes 'aaaaahhhhhh!' but she doesn't have the patience to sit still for very long. Oh well - we'll get there!

I've never had a filling and my dentist says my teeth are 'perfect' every time I go for a check-up, but they're really yellow, which has always bothered me. I ended up buying a whitening kit that they had on offer - it's supposed to be really good, so fingers crossed! That's 10 evenings of weird gel in my mouth - might be good for my weight too as I won't be able to snack in front of the TV! :D
  • Thanks guys, sometimes it's nice to know I'm not the only one going through what I'm going through!

Now starting to worry a bit & I'm not having a good night - Rebecca had her jabs today & now has been asleep for 8 hours! But I'm still downstairs & awake - think I'm just going to wake her up now & see if she feeds & hope she settles soon after!

Seems very odd that she has not woken for food! But after a google (need to stop that!) apparantley it's normal to be sleepy & off food after jabs?

My LO slept for absolutely ages after her first jabs and seemed a bit lethargic (if you can say that about someone so young!) for another couple of days. I think it's very normal - and it's equally normal to worry about it.

Eilis slept for about 2 days after her jags, I really wouldn't be too worried :)

Trying to get a urine sample from her at the minute. Think it'd be easier to nail jelly to a wall! I've been trying since Friday but she just doesn't seem to want to pee without her nappy on!

Why do lovely babies who sleep suddenly forget how to sleep unless in your bed?

Sometimes they just want mummy cuddles - I'm sure she'll go back to her own bed soon :)
