I could cry I'm that tired, got lo to sleep for 8 - fantastic. Then he woke at 10 and stayed awake till after 12 in our bed then woke up again at 3am and stayed awake for another hour until fell asleep again in our bed. Now I've had to get up and go to work and I'm just absolutely drained! I feel so tired! And I won't be able to nap until 2 this afternoon! And I just know that lo will be hard work today from lack of sleep! Arggghhh give me back my maternity leave!Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0

Thanks everyone for the moral support! I think she tired herself out with all the screaming and settled 11.30 then through to 3, up again just past 7. She's like a different baby today, happy and kicking around on her mat so I'm thinking it's just gas and she's worked it out in the night (lots of grunting). I'm sure it will happen again I just need to learn how to cope with it better. Really grateful for all you kind words0

Hello ladies
Lamaze toys were much loved here too - we have Freddie the Firefly and the musical inchworm. We used the inchworm a lot for tummy time in the early days - she was fascinated by the different colours and textures.
We use dummies, but we're restricting them to sleeptime only + in the buggy on the way home from nursery as she's always very tired then. I do think we need to start thinking about getting rid of it altogether though as she's 18 months now. Am dreading it!
It's my day off todayWe made muffins this morning (these with half the sugar content) - they're very yummy and almost healthy and I'd definitely recommend! LO loved them too. She's now having a nap, and I'm having break before starting on lunch. We're going swimming this afternoon if she wakes up in time, but I doubt she will.... Oh well - there's always next week!
Hope everyone is having a good day x0 -
Afternoon everyone.
We're sat having our lunch now, savoury rice and A has managed to pick out every single piece of red pepper and say 'yuck' lovelynow he's banging his spoon off the plate, he's not a quiet child.
R.e Lamaze, we had captain calamari, he was brilliantthere stuff is so colourful and eye catching.
Dummies we used and got rid of this summer, it really wasn't easy at all. I have read the ideal and easiest time to get rid if them is between 6-12months so I think I'd try that next time. They did have there place for us though
We are going to attempt jam doughnut muffins from the kids section of How to be a domestic goddess, I say attempt as A is a little over enthusiasticwish us luck...

Oooh, duffins!Did you hear about the row between Starbucks (whose supplier has trademarked the duffin) and Bea's of Bloomsbury, who thought she'd invented it? :rotfl:Good luck - hope A behaves

I guess I used to listen to them a lot while pregnant and jump around to them (I'm quite mental btw) so he could probably hear I guess
He did a proper smile to me yesterday when I was singing to him. was sooooooo cuteWhat's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -

Awww, that's fabI can so imagine the two of you jumping around when he's a bit older! My little one (18 months) points to the speakers when she wants to listen to music, and the moment I switch it on she starts to dance and spin around

Congrats neneromanova, another baby Edward
although our's is now Ted most of the time.
A big thanks to Katiechoc on the biting boobie advice. I purposely stop so he has time to think that he's feeding, and now seems to latch pretty well, without nibbling.
A friend popped round earlier, so it's been like Christmas here as she dropped round some unused toys for T that her LO has grown out of.
