It doesn't appear that anyone has missed me.

I haven't read back far but it looks like I wouldn't have been very useful. I'm running out of things to moan about myself. Have been out and about with some mums I've met, 2-3 times a week. All their children seem to just stare at me... must be something about my face?

Sorry if I've missed any newbies *waves*

That's right morocha :) Dewi is still sleeping very well.

Sorry I haven't been around much. Hope Jade is ok? (It is Jade right?) I'm guessing 5 1/3 is long for you... she must be ok if she's sleeping that long :) Dewi has taken to farting in his sleep ^^ I was worried about him being windy as he gets a very rumbly belly. I think he must just be getting used to it though. We've had a brilliant week of sleeping.

You know you got up early when you've done two loads of laundry by 6.30am :) Good night here though, despite the early start - she stayed in her own bed all night and only woke up for the dummy at 11 and 2. She woke up for the day at 4.30 but given that she went to bed at 6.30 last night (she was soooo tired after a busy day at the nursery), that's 10 hours so I can't complain.

Hope everyone's having a good day - it's freezing here!

yes bamama, Jade is her name. Shes very unsettled during the day and cries a lot at night, did not know what was wrong but im ure is colic now.
she usually sleeps 3 hs then feeds, another 2 hs then feeds and 2 hs more. Not bad but still feel shattered
how old is Dewi now >

nutella , omg thats early, it is freezing here too.

Mam dummies: i can not find them, those particular ones you posted a picture of. Please can anybody share a link where i can buy them online?# i live up in the stick and my nearest town with shops is 40 min away and only have tesco, asda, morrisons, boots and none of these shops have got those particular ones.

Theo went to bed at 6.30 last night too Nutella. Poor thing was shattered as he hadn't napped at all in the day (we were out at Baby Sensory and then met up with some of DH's family so he was too excited to sleep). He was up for the day at 5.15. Thankfully being Saturday DH got up with him as I have come down with a stinking cold and sore throat. I could hardly swallow this morning :-(

We have begun the weaning journey here. A quick question about sterilising. Do you or don't you sterlise bowls/spoons etc? I have been doing, as advised, but then I've read elsewhere that once they are picking things up off the floor and putting them in their mouths there's no point sterilising feeding equipment (apart from bottles of course).

I was under the impression that if they're 6 months, you don't need to sterilise spoons etc. I seem to remember I checked with the hv, as when my eldest was little you did... I scorched so many pretty bowls in the micro steriliser!

Elelyn, yay for weaning! How is it going? I don't sterilise bowls and spoons and never have - the only things that get sterilised here are milk bottles and dummies.

Morocha, look for "MAM Perfect soother ". This is one link, but there is at least another couple on Amazon under that name:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B005DKGWQ8/ref=mp_s_a_1?qid=1361625090&sr=8-18&pi=SL75

I'm on the phone, so I cannot move back and forth between tags without losing the post. If I see it somewhere else, I'll edit this post.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0068EK5Y8/ref=mp_s_a_1?qid=1361625073&sr=8-2&pi=SL75 > although the pic is in blue, you can choose colour. That one has prime delivery, if you have signed up for the family club. If not, do so, it's 3 months free, just cancel before they charge you, you'll get next day delivery free and £10 off your first shop, so you can buy the dummy and some nappies almost free. I'm probably renewing the membership because I have worked out that I'd spend more on delivery over the year.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0068EK62E/ref=mp_s_a_1?qid=1361625735&sr=8-1&pi=SL75 > this is the design I've got.

It's on offer at kiddicare http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplayA_59_10751_-1_14663_134004_10001_14052
