Yeah, if you buy new stuff and furniture it's easy to go over, I guess. We are not buying a bedroom set, we'll buy the cotbed, she's got an old set of drawers with her clothes and that's it for now.I have about 3 full bookcases and two wardrobes with my DH 's office clothes. I need to figure out first how to rearrange things. I think I'll wait until she outgrows the cotbed, around 5 yo, and then I'll ask for a made to measure bedroom, where I can have cupboards all around the top for the books. We bought this flat with the furniture, spent every penny, so we need to wait until we can make some fitted wardrobes or even get matching furniture for any of the rooms!! I plan to make some pretty curtains and things like that to make it cosy.
Moneypenny, my LO has been dribbling and munching on her fists for two weeks now. The HV and GP said it's part of her development, she probably has found out about her hands (she also stares at them), and her digestive system is maturing, so not only she's reaching the 3 months and will improve the wind and colic problems, but she's salivating more. That's what I've been told, but I'm too used now to getting different information, so I don't know!!Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

Hi all. did any of you use colief with your little ones? I have just started using it with my baby (nearly 5 weeks old), and it has helped him to trump pain free today. But it is a faff to use and I wondered if anyone had any tips on making it easier to use. The instructions say to express a couple of tablespoons and add the colief then give him this using a plastic spoon. Well the spoon was a disaster and a sippy cup didn't work so have resorted to giving him the mixture in a bottle each feed before breastfeeding as normal. Does anyone know of any other ways I could use?0

What do you mean by sippy cup? One with a spout? When I fed Freddie formula a couple of times when he was tiny I used an incredibly small cup, a bit like the ones you get for measuring cough mixture. What about a syringe, without the needle, and giving it slowly?Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

The phone power lead is a favourite here too - we've moved it to the most inaccessible place possible and she has to crawl under the sofa to get to it, but if ever we take our eyes off her for a few seconds and she's disappeared, we know where to find her! The only way to get her back out is to pull her out by her feet whilst she's holding on to the lead as if her life depended on it. She also loves our laptop power cables0 -
Lirin I nearly went 14 days over as that was when my induction was booked for but my waters broke so it was brought forward. He then decided to have a poo inside me so I ended up having my induction started at 2am.
Morocha I have seen the MAM dummies in boots, tescos and mothercare.
We have easily spent over £1500 on Finley with travel system, nursery, swing, bouncer, clothes and everything else. Me and OH stopped smoking when we found out I was pregnant so even though we went crazy we are still better off.0 -

Try a syringe. Without a needle obv. You can get them from your pharmacist."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0
