Ouch. My head hurts just thinking about it! We only have the walker, and I'm not buying her any more noisy toys for now. Having said that, she's perfectly capable of making her own noise - banging her water bottle on the table, bashing a cardboard box, holding a plastic tub in each hand and banging them together.... But I don't mind that sort of noise, I think it's cuteOh, and then there's clapping, but so far it's silent!
She's started doing this strange thing with her hands - moving them round and round as if drawing circles in the air. I've no idea why or what got her into it, but she seems to enjoy it!0 -

Ahh turtle Reuben is just adorable! I don't think I've seen a picture of him before!
As for the Jumperoo, I'm absolutely desperate to get little miss moneypenny in it! She loves to stand, then her knees give way so she springs back up again and loves the game of doing this over and over so I'm hoping she will love the Jumperoo. However at only 9 weeks old and still a slightly wobbly head, I fear its a wee bit too premature to build the jumperoo!
Last night's fun game was half rolls onto her side and going from sitting up against me to leaning fully forward. Hilariously from both positions she couldn't get back bless her!
I am more positive than ever that she is suffering with her teeth. Her hand is constantly in her mouth (way more than normal) and she is extremely dribbly the last week or so - does that sound like teething? Poor love can't even grasp a teething ring so we've been holding Sophie in her mouth which she seems to like chewing on (once she got over the initial taste of the rubber!). Health visitor was SO unhelpful when I showed her the hard white bits on the front of her gums and concluded by saying " well I don't know what it is" (having just tried to tell me that the 2 hard spots were thrush?!). I've read a bit about it, it seems it might not be a tooth cutting this early but just the teeth moving around the gums bless her!
Hope everyone had a good night's sleep. I've not managed to get back to sleep after the 5am feed but don't feel too bad for it, I'm sure I'll suffer later!0 -
Reuben's so beautiful!
Freddie's tried a bit of porridge for breakfast. Jeez, that stuffs sets like wallpaper paste. I've just had to chisel the remains off his face."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

Turtlemoose - lovely pics
I've woken up with a headache this morning, I've taken some tablets so hopefully they will kick in soon. I've got my nieces coming over for dinner today so I have to entertain two 9 year olds, a 7 year old, 6 year old and an 11 month old!!! This should've fun, great day for a headache!

Moneypenny, we've had excessive dribble (changing soaked bibs as aften as every half hour on some days) and hands in mouth (followed by anything else within reach) since around 8 weeks, she's now almost 9 and a half months and we still don't have any teeth! It's unlikely to be teeth that early, but technically possible. Get some bandana bibs to soak up the dribble if you haven't already - we prefer those from Funky Giraffe and Hip Hip Baby. Amazon sells them x0
