Brilliant news Oscar, I think you're almost on the cusp of when breastfeeding is supposed to get easier, so well done to you both :D Sounds like you've gone through a lot of hard work to get there! xx

We stopped milk in the night at around 9-10 months, when he was eating enough solids and started just mucking around on the boob in the night - being woken up in the middle of the night is bad enough, but then to have your nips chewed and bitten is not pleasant!

Ah Nutella welcome to my world ;). Although G did actually let me go to the loo without screaming at the bathroom door this morning which is big news!

:jYay! I haven't been able to go to the loo with the door closed for months. She'll happily sit outside as long as the door's left open - if I try to close it, all hell breaks loose! :o OH takes a positive approach to this: she's 'learning' about going to the loo by watching me! Uhm, sure!... :rotfl:
  • My lo is army crawling along the floor from today :) I can't wait until he works out how to crawl! How exciting!

Bangton - hope everyone has made you feel better, babies are work in the first few months, but it all falls in place

Nutella - my lo was up last night crying for no reason then whingey this morning and wouldn't nap, he's now flat out! So I'm having a break.

Cake - time capsule is so cute, I would have loved something done like that for me. Would have been so cool.

I think its my fault he goes so mad when I shut the door as I leave it a bit open when it's just the two of us! Not so keen on leaving it open when there's other people in though :o

Sigh. It's almost like having a newborn again. For the past 48 hours I've been unable to get her to sleep unless I'm holding her or she's in the buggy. I've just rocked her to sleep and then transferred her to the cot, as she was screaming her little head off and kept stretching her arms towards me :o I really hope this phase of whatever-it-is is short-lived!

Oh no Nutella :(. Hope she snaps out of it ASAP.

    Mrshtobe yay for commando crawling!

Thunder and lightning here tonight, don't know how G is sleeping through it. He ate a full meal at teatime tonight (not including veg, obviously ;)) first time in ages we've had a teatime with no tears :T

We had the thunder and lightening too... but at tea time-ish. And yay for eating nicely!

Little miss has been lovely today as we had all day together on our own. Luckily she stayed awake all day and slept the whole time when we went to get Squeak :j

    Nutella, is she feeling unwell?

Thanks ladies. I really don't know what's up with her - she seems happy in herself most of the time, running around, playing and giggling, she hasn't got a temperature and she hasn't gone off her food (but then she never does!) :o She's just very, very clingy. I ended up going for a walk with the buggy earlier today to get her to nap as she just screamed when I put her in the cot. Roll on next Tuesday when OH is back :o I do wonder if him being away is what this is all related to - that she's clinging to me for dear life to make sure I'm not going anywhere...?

MrsH, yay for crawling, Katie, yay for dinner, and Delain, yay for a good day with little miss! :T
