Poor Aiden, how is he today Sunshine? Did you get much sleep?

Glad you enjoyed the group Sammie and met someone local:)

George is much better today thanks to those that mentioned him. And he slept really well - I slept in his room expecting him to be up and only sleep on my knee again. Apart from some very pitiful whimpers in his sleep he didn't wake til 4.30 when I calpoled him and he went straight back off til 6.30. He's been dashing around like normal this morning. Starting to flag now, he's just climbed on to my knee and laid his head down. Nap time apparently!

  • Hi katie

Glad George is improving :) wish Aiden had a morning nap, I am lucky if he does half an hour a day when we are at home!

He slept alot better than I thought, one wake at 3 and then till 745! Must have needed it. Only on our second dose of antibiotics though so hoping they kick in by tonight.

He is very clingy this morning, struggled to even make a brew so no chance of me catching up on washing while I am off!!

Hope everyone else is good x x x

Glad the sleeps went better than expected.
Off to get some more stuff for making bread! Cheated last week, bought a James Martin Granary packet, did it with the dough hook on mixer and it was delicious. Off to get bread flour, yeast etc and do it properly.... yummmmy.

Aw poor Aiden. It's so hard when they just want cuddles. We had that yesterday - luckily my OH had won a big set of Bob the builder DVDs on eBay last week so we just watched those all day!

He doesn't have a morning nap anymore normally but I think he's just worn out at the moment. Usually he'll have the best part of two hours in the afternoon which is lovely :D

  • Hi ladies and babies :) Hope all the poorly babies are getting better. I've finally got LO to nap without being held - let's just hope it lasts so I can start getting a bit more done during the day.

She's three months on Thursday and rolled over today :D I'm so proud and she looked so pleased with herself. Although she then tried again and got stuck, so mastering it may take a while yet!

Yay for rolling over sparkles :T

Back from blood tests so just put the kettle on, poor boy is sleeping now but he was very brave considering they took blood from both hands and 1 arm. :( all over now though and I'm sure as soon as he wakes up he would have forgotten all about it!

  • Evening ladies, I have a dilemma, I made a load of food for my lo to eat today, for the next few days.

However when it came to dinner and tea time, he had one mouthful and then looked like id poisoned him? He looked disgusted with it.

I don't get it... I've cut down his two day bottles, thinking maybe he wasn't hungry enough however he's still not eating, I'm wondering if his tooth is playing him up?

It could be his tooth, but it could also just be 'one of those things'. Adults have hungry days and not-so-hungry days, days when we feel like eating certain things and days when we feel like eating other things. I think babies are the same. I'd see how things go tomorrow - if he still refuses, I'd try giving him something else, and failing that, I'd offer milk. It's very early days and solids are still very new to him. I know it's hard not to worry, but it'll be absolutely fine :o
