The group was fab :) I have made a new friend too, ha ha! I met a lady who only lives 5 mins away from me and she has a little boy who is nearly 3 and has been diagnosed with autism. He was a lovely little boy but he also had no speech :( he was so happy though and loved playing with everything....it's nice to see the positive side of it if you know what I mean.

Sammie, glad the group was good, must be really nice to get some support from people who live locally and are going through something similar. Yay for a new friend too! :)
  • Hope the group was ok sammie?

Eek Delain hope you're both ok!

Nutella thanks for asking :o - I took G to the docs this morning, his temp shot up to almost 40 last night, only briefly, got it back down with nurofen and a lukewarm bath but I was up with him at 3 and he just wouldn't sleep anywhere except my knee. He's got bacterial tonsillitis, so we've atleast got some antibiotics to give him, just hope they kick in quickly. I've also had a migraine this afternoon so it feels like my head could shatter into a thousand pieces at any moment.

  • Poor George katie :(

Took Aiden the docs too, he was okay this morn but nursery called at 3 to say he was warm again. Doc checked him over and he has an ear infection in both ears and a throat infection :( poor little baby. On antibiotics which means no more nursery this week so I am tomorrow and Wednesday with him.

How come? My LO been on antibiotics three times this year (all for ear infections) - if she hadn't been able to still attend nursery I'd have run out of annual leave by May!

Poor Aiden. And poor George. But glad they've both got antibiotics - hope they start working very soon :o We've found it usually takes about three days before they kick in.

Sammie - thanks :) Yes, looking forward to our little family being reunited - once I've survived the 7-hour flight with LO on my lap

Our lawn is currently covered in pears - we've got a massive tree and we can't reach them, so they stay there until they fall down. The squirrels are loving it and are partying away out there all day :rotfl: LO loves watching them* - she sits on a box by the back door and points at them :)

    * the squirrels, not the pears. The pears aren't very exciting.
