    Morning all :)

Reuben looks so grown up now!

MrsH, yay for a good night :D But boo to LO passing on his cold :( Toys for a 9-month-old.... Obviously a V Tech walker if you haven't already got one! He'll soon be old enough for shape sorters and stacking towers - we got LO the ELC Stack and Drop Froggie at around 9 months, and she still loves it 7 months later. Initially, she spent most of her time banging the little balls together, then gradually she was able to drop them into the frog's mouth, and also do the actual stacking. And she loves putting the bigger pieces on our heads :o Would definitely recommend.

By the way, the Annabel Karmel website is also good for weaning for those going down the puree route :)

It's my day off today. LO and I have made flapjacks, which we'll have for our mid-morning snack, and the breadmaker is working on a honey and sunflower loaf :D LO is sat on the floor surrounded by books - she's emptied out her basket and is going through them all one by one :)

Hope everyone has a good day x
  • Just wanted to let you know I've spoken with HV today and she's calling out tomorrow to see us. She mentioned tongue ties and apparently there's a clinic in the neighbouring town, so hopefully we'll get a referral.

I have to admit that I was pretty impressed - the HV we saw at the baby clinic had talked to her and she was proactively calling me to see if she could offer support.

Thanks also for offering me some timescales - as E is now 7 weeks I feel like I can cope for another couple of weeks!

Nutella - you are making me hungry with all that talk of food ;)

We have been to the local soft play centre this morning for toddler time. Noah spent 2 hours lying in the ball pit! He absolutely loved it :) Ill try and post a pic of him in there in a bit.

I guess you don't want to hear about my first ever breadmaker loaf then?.... :rotfl:It's so yummy, and the whole flat smells like freshly baked bread :D

Glad Noah enjoyed softplay! :) He's grown soooo much!

I would love a breadmaker but for some reason always thought it would be really hard to use! My house usually smells of burnt toast not freshly baked bread!

Definitely not hard to use! I bought the one Marta referred to as 'fool proof', and I think she's right - I was surprised by how easy it was :)

just trying to express every 2 hours to build my milk up at the moment and get little one off the formula fingers crossed. when he's hungry and in the right mood, he does know what to do with my boob thank goodness.
