Oh to have one of those! Instead I have a trump-bag of flatulence whose favourite food is chilli!

Had to laugh the other day - that idiot Gove was on the TV wittering about his utterly ridiculous new primary History curriculum (seriously - how can you take Ancient Egypt off the menu - it's probably the one bit of primary history everyone remembers... mummies) and Erin's response to the man was to start blowing raspberries and fill her nappy! Good girl!

You should have seen her eating raspberries yesterday - each berry was studied, then squashed, then spread all over the table, then picked up again and eventually some of each of the berries found their way into her mouth. Took ages!

Oh, and Dizzi - pineapple fingers get deconstructed, then each bit is studied and licked for a bit, then sometimes placed on the table and picked up again before eventually being eaten :o

Ohh also anybody got any recommendations for dry skin cream? I'm using E45 at the moment but Poppy has very dry cheeks, knees and arms, I'm thinking its from all her rolling about as that is the only way she is moving at the moment

    Hi Jannine :)
Scott has ezcema from time to time (dry skin flares with teething especially)
For day to day moisturising have discovered
Aveeno skin relief lotion (the link is the correct one it does contain shea butter) it is fab honestly try it! And not bad price at amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00402E942?ie=UTF8&force-full-site=1&ref_=aw_bottom_links

Another cream we are using when it is flaring because of teething is salcura zeoderm (it is available elsewhere but they do a mb guarantee and there is a free sample request trial), I did not like the spray though just the zeoderm and the bath oil but it is very slippery to use!! https://www.salcuraskincare.com/product/zeoderm/

No, she likes our body heat, as soon as she is placed in her cot she wakes up, so she sleeps in bed with me but my oh is scared to roll over her so he sleeps in the couch, i really need to get her to sleep in her cot but do not know how to go about it. HV says of course she wants to be with you, and just leaves it at that.
    N
If you have room for a sidecar cot, that might help as she'd still be next to you but your OH could sleep in bed and although still next to you she'd at least be in the cot so one stage closer to sleeping on her own in the cot.

    Hello all :)

Nutella, yay for the good sleep! :j We are doing well here too...don't want to jinx it though so I will move on :p

Re eating, we have a slow eater here too. Everything really takes a long time. Nursery even comment on it too lol. Apparently Aiden just likes to chat away during meal times! I used to do it too when I was younger :o

Aiden has a small patch of dry skin on his chest and cheek, I took him to the doctors about it and they prescribed some cetraben emollient cream, cleared it up in about 2 days.

I have had a bad headache on and off for 2 days now :( really annoying. I've even had to bring some work home with me as I couldn't concerntrate at work.

    Hope everyone is okay xxx

Your pics will usually be on the sd card which is removable. Even without being able to switch the phone on, you should still be able to access the card. What phone is it?

I don't think my phone has an sd card. Its a nokia N95 8gb so fairly old :(, thank you though.

Will definitely look into dropbox for the future Marta, thank you

Had a little cry earlier at the thought of losing so many precious memories :(. Havent used my digital camera since the 1st week in hospital cos the memory cards full and haven't found time to sort it. Could kick myself now for not making the time

    Thanks everyone

Morocha, Ive only just got the girls to settle in a cot this last 10days or so. They would cry if I even attempted to move them away from me in my bed so the thought of putting them in a cot at all was very daunting! It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. In fact it went so well we moved them into their own bedroom on Saturday :T. All we did was put hot water bottles in their cot 1st to warm it as they were so used to bodyheat, and they are now in grobags to keep them toasty. They wont sleep unless they're really warm

Ooh, E45 is rubbish for babes IME.

Try Doublebase. You can get it on prescription so no charge, although that will entail a trip to the quack's. Freddie had a touch of eczema, we made an appt with the nurse (no need for a doctor) and she prescribed Doublebase gel (although it's a cream not a gel really).

I've since spoken to my doctor brother's friend whose also a doctor (GP) and has worked with the UK's leading child skin disorder expert. He raves about Doublebase - says it's the best. You can't get more of an endorsement than that, IMO.

One other thing - got to use lots of it. That goes for every cream you might be using for dry skin/eczema. The main reason that parents take their children back to the doctors to say the stuff's not working is because they're simply not using enough.

Yeah it does! You've just not realised because it's tiny and hidden away. (And perhaps it didn't help that I called it an sd card, not memory). Follow the link to 'memory card' in the Contents page under 'Your Nokia N95'.
