Definitely get the jersey ones as you can just bung them in the washer. The ones that are 'wipe clean' can't be put in washer which is v annoying. I had the red and green ones that Nutella mentioned.

We don't really use bibs anymore but if he does I use the pull over type from Asda :o

Nutella, thanks for the heads up about the bibs, I've been using normal ones with him in just a nappy!

MrsH I had a sweet craving through pregnancy too and it has also carried on! I seem to have lost most of my baby weight but just have my jelly belly to go-think only exercise can help me... Oh and possibly a tummy tuck!!!

We don't use bibs. We use vanish! (on the clothes not the child)

Thanks for the advice, will defo look at getting a jumperoo in the next few weeks then, for a little'un he has a pretty strong neck and can hold his head up for quite a while now. Then the V tech thingy can prob wait til Christmas. It's kinda hard thinkin of stuff to get a baby for Christmas!
I was not bothered for chocolate during my pregnancy. Was mad about fruit, nectarines and grapes mmmm. I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight about 2 weeks after giving birth but my tummy is podgier and I have my gorgeous C-section foldy-over thingy which I've been told will never leave me. I never had abs of steel before so I'm not expecting them to appear any time soon but I would like to flatten it a bit, but all in good time. Since having H I have been hooked-and I mean hooked- on Cadburys Marvellous creation chocolate,i eat it very day. I am more cravey now than when I was preggo!I know bf-ing burns 500cals a day but I am consuming about 1000 in choc alone i'm sure!

    Morning ladies :)

Hope your nights were as good as ours - after a couple of truly terrible ones, she slept from 7.30 to 4.50! :D

Gilly, hope you have a much better day today.

Elisabeth, my c-section fold-over is gone and the scar is barely visible, so there's hope :) And I'm eating my own body weight in chocolate on a daily basis at the moment, so it certainly isn't down to a healthy lifestyle... :o

Forgot to mention - I was in Sainsbury's on Sunday and discovered that all their 'back to school stationery' is on BOGOF at the moment. That includes stuff suitable for little people nowhere near ready for school, so LO now has a nice selection of crayons and washable felt tip pens :)

Hope everyone has a good day whatever your plans x

Yay for sleep nutella! How old is your LO I can't remember?

I'd better pop to sainsbobs at some point then! Did it include bags and lunchboxes or did you not see?

Hoping we actually get to the library today... We had nothing but trouble from my bigger 3 yesterday so I've said they're 'almost' grounded ie they are not going out unsupervised until I think they can be trusted to be sensible so no park and no playing out with friends. I've got parcels coming though so will have to work out how much time we've got.

Have stripped my bed, washing machine's on, got some on the line, just going to empty the dishwasher, feeling quite organised. That won't last :rotfl:

Anyone else finding this food waste bin thing a bit of a pain in this heat? There were maggots in my outside one this morning for the third week in a row! (sorry about that at breakfast time :o)

I suspect we will have fun with little miss this morning as I've sneaked her blanket in to the wash because where she drags it everywhere and chews it it was disgusting  there will be trouble when she can't find it.

Delain, my LO is a few days short of 15 months old :)

The Sainsbury's BOGOF definitely included lunchboxes - not sure about bags. But it did include pencil cases, so it's perfectly possible!

Morning all :) Thanks Nutella, it's OH's day off today, so he can deal with contrary boy. I'm going home tomorrow for the funeral and leaving A with my OH, MIL and SIL for the few days I'm gone. Didn't really want to take him. Just went to try on my only suitable dress for the funeral and it's a bit tight, I don't understand that when I'm lighter than I've been in years, so gonna have to go out today and get something, pah!

Gilly, pregnancy definitely changed my body shape, and I'm finding that most of my old clothes (especially trousers) don't fit me anymore, even though I weigh less :( Happy shopping though :)

I'm pear shaped and always have been bigger in trousers than tops even when i was very slim. since squeak starts nursery in town every day in September and they are digging pretty much the entire town up I'll be doing a lot of walking. last time there were major roadworks i was burning over 3k calories a day walking less than i will be after the holidays so i could eat like a man and still lost weight. think lack of exercise now its the holidays isn't helping.

oh and I've got to go to the docs today because I've got a rash that failed the glass test :o
