Aw Gilly, sounds like a cr*ppy morning. Is it raining where you are too just to finish you off?
    Hopefully the afternoon will improve.x

No rain :D I made blueberry pancakes for lunch, and surprise surprise, he turned his nose up, so I don't predict it getting much better :o

Apparently they actually hinder walking, rather than help. My paedatrician warned me off them. They also recommend 15 mins twice a day as the very max you should put them in them, so take up a lot of space for little use :o

Thanks, guess it's about limiting use then, same as most toys. Aren't jumperoos meant to be only 15 mins too?

Just checked on Mothercare, they are saying 20 minutes per day for the walker.

I'm not sure about the jumperoo, I used to use it while I ate my breakfast and lunch before weaning age.

Suppose it's personal preference, I haven't really limited any toys, he generally plays with what he wants to :o

am thinking about going swi mming tonight since I've started calorie counting again afterhaving a lazy few weeks and putting some weight on...probably not helped by AF which always makes me bloated and feel huge :(

How do you find calorie counting? Does it work for you? I have the my fitness pal app and find it really handy for working out calories. I want to lose 2 stone altogether.

  • The only craving I had during pregnancy was chocolate, didn't care for it before I got pregnant but I had to have it when I was. However it's carried on, I lost all pregnancy weight giving birth and half a stone dropped off afterwards but now I'm eating biscuits every day and all I think about it chocolate :(

  • Nutella, thanks for the heads up about the bibs, I've been using normal ones with him in just a nappy!

MrsH I had a sweet craving through pregnancy too and it has also carried on! I seem to have lost most of my baby weight but just have my jelly belly to go-think only exercise can help me... Oh and possibly a tummy tuck!!!

Make sure you get some with elasticated wrists to stop food from escaping up the sleeves! We have these and these from Mothercare; they're great and still going strong after daily use for nine months :) I know it says suitable from 9 months, but we used ours from 6 months with no problems. There are cheaper ones out there though, including from places like Asda.
