Morning ladies, typically I woke up at 7.15am when OH's alarm went off...LO is still asleep. Have had breakfast and tempted to either go back to sleep or shower - of course, either one will immediately wake her!

    Hello :hello:

Apparently rash nothing to worry about!

Got to dash as we are off out (not an outing I'm looking forward to!)

Will be back later if I'm not in a mental hospital :rotfl:
Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession :o:o
  • Evening ladies,
Hope everyone has had a good day? Delain did you survive your outing?

I've had a grumpy whingy baby today, think his second tooth is going to come through any day now though!

Had a bit of a shock earlier... Oliver is 6 months and is already crawling.. He's not super fast yet, but is def crawling. Anyway, today he crawled over to a small stool in the lounge and pulled himself up to standing!!! He wasn't overly steady and proceeded to topple over and hit his head on his rocker, but I can't believe he pulled himself up! I want him to be a little baby a bit longer-he's growing up so fast :(

    Me x

Why can't I get my baby to sleep? Her dad usually does it and she goes down once I'm already in bed. Do you think she's getting reliant on us being in the room? She's only five weeks

Eventually at 11:45! Felt really bad as she'd started crying loads just before half 11 so I phoned hubby asking him to come home and help (he was at a friend's for the evening), when he got back she was asleep! :o
  • Sparkles I remember when Oliver was like that... Apparently they cry more and more each week until about 6 weeks when it's the worst... Then it's meant to get better, although I don't think I noticed an improvement for ages!
She probably just wants cuddles and to know you are there, at that ages Oliver always went to sleep on me or DH, still does to be honest! X

A still goes to sleep on me in the evenings and I then transfer her into the cot. She's 15 weeks tomorrow. A's been sleeping from between 9:30 and 10:30 until between 7 and 8:30 the next morning for a few weeks now. Last night she was up at 4:20 again... I struggled to get up for the day this morning!
