Hey ladies, been a few days since I posted but I've been trying to keep up with reading. Busy busy here - between a mountain of work, redecorating the bathroom and (of course) the small person I'm pretty worn out. But its all good, work means cash to spend on cake (for me) and treats for my little man :D

Welcome to the new mamas, hope you're all doing ok :)

All this talk of pancakes has made me hungry, think I'll have to give them a try. Just hope they'll work with gluten free flour as OH will be miserable if he can't have any.

If anyone is looking for something to entertain their LOs with I made G some home made play dough yesterday and he loved it, actually sat in a chair for 30 minutes playing! Unheard of! http://kidmin1124.com/kidmin-general/teaching/easy-no-cook-play-dough-receipe-for-preschool/ and I got a box of playdough tools from Wilkos for a bargainous £1 :)

Back to work before the terror bag wakes up...

    I've been Money Tipped!
Well I've suspected it was going that way for a while, but T is a thumbsucker. It's very cute, tends to only do it when he's tired, but I think it may become a habit.
We don't use a dummy, so I guess we had it coming.

My LO sucks her thumb she has done since she was quite small. She only does it when she is going to sleep. Whenever I go in to check on her in the night it's never in her mouth. I've never seen her do it at any other time in the day. I tried a dummy when she was smaller she just looked disgusted!

I'll tackle it when we need to, but so far it helps her self settle so I'm not going to make her stop.

    Evening all :)

I don't have much to say, but thought I'd check in and say hello! Hope everyone is well.

LO was really tired this evening - she went on a nursery trip to a city farm today, so lots of fresh air and new experiences. She even went on a pony ride :)

Having an early night - am knackered!

Hope all the little people (mine included) sleep well tonight x

katie pancakes should be ok with gluten free flour. If not I often make them with ground almonds instead of flour not quite as smooth a batter but works just as well :)

    Morning ladies

Hope all slept well? I havent mentioned this in fear of jinxing it but Aiden has slept through, by that I mean past 515 for the last 3 weeks. Had the odd 4am wake but have just put him in with us for an hour. Watch me jinx it now though, I always do! Big improvement on midnight screaming tantrums.

He has a cute new trick, comes and gets my hand and takes me somewhere :) usually the kitchen....but sometimes his nappy bag or his bibs for tea, very sweet.

Finally sold our house so fingers crossed we make it this time!

Not much planned today, weather looks a bit rubbish so will see what happens. Night out next sat and I need some of those control pants as my stomach is very jiggly!!

Anything planned this wkend ladies? Xxxxx

Sounds like a good time of it Sunshine, very cute leading you to things as well.
Nothing exciting today. Still smiling from the success of baby yoga yesterday.

Congrats on your house Sunshine! Hope it all goes through this time.

We've got no plans other than work (me) and paint the bathroom (OH). Fil is coming over to take George out for a little bit so we can get on. I'm ridiculously nervous about him taking G - he's had him quite a few times before but not for a while, and G is so fast now. A few times in the park I've had to ditch the pushchair and run after him as he seems to have a magnet that pulls him straight towards the gate by the busy road :(. I'm sure it'll be fine really, just need to relax :o

Thanks Jonno, I'll give it a try :). Can you not eat gluten either?

Katie I can eat gluten but have been following a food plan for the last 4 weeks which omits certain food groups for the first 9 days and then you introduce them back to see the effect on you. One of them was gluten and tbh I'm not in a hurry to keep any of them in my diet regularly. I've lost nearly a stone in 4 weeks doing this and I've never eaten so well!! And I've learnt lots of inventive ways to make lovely food. Including almond pancakes:D great news on house - were just about to put ours on the market, have seen a lovely house that's just come up for sale on Internet, drove past it today. Fingers crossed for us both x
