Yes, bamama, I baby wear, although now it's only outside. I stopped at 3 months around the house because she wasn't getting used to the floor. Now she's 80% of the time on the floor (with me as mountain to climb, lol), 10% jumperoo, 5% high chair and 5% carrier or pram.

I'm struggling for ideas to have for her with protein. I gave her cheese triangles and fish, but the fish flakes out and I don't think anything goes in.I'm scared of giving her meat because of chocking, is there anything I can give at this stage?

Eggs are good for protein. I gave Dewi some chicken which he seemed to enjoy :)

Marta, lentils, chick peas and beans are great sources of protein, and you can mash to your desired consistency if you prefer! :) Something like this, or lentils mixed with sweet potato. Eggs are also fine as long as you cook them well - including scrambled, as omelette or as (my LO's preferred option!) French toast.

    Afternoon ladies

Gorgeous day here too :j took A to the local farm and he had his first go on a bouncy castle, he (and OH) loved it, I couldnt watch as he was flying about! Laughing his little head off though lol.

I am feeling mega mega sick today :( all morning while we were out. I would swear I was pregnant if it hadnt just been that time of the month. Vile :( My mums doing a bbq later so really hoping I am better then.

Little one asleep and OH watching f1 so may have a nap.

Just a quick one, baking I tend to just bake my usual recipes and give him small amounts of it, I'm all for everything in moderation, and when it's home made I know exactly what goes into it, but if I do flapjacks I use honey (which is only ok after 1) and sticky dried fruits like apricots :)

He's so small though I don't tend to worry about what he eats though as he has a very balanced diet, and any extra lbs wouldn't be a bad thing :D

We've been out a walk around the shops this afternoon and for a bite of lunch. Bought a Tshirt with a cape to put away for the C word ;)

I have the worst cold atm, had to sleep sitting up last night because I couldn't breathe laying down, feeling a bit sorry for myself, but got to soldier on, haven't we? :)

Ooh Gilly I bought something today for the C-word too :D The V-tech Cuddle Ladybird - currently half price in Sainsburys at £8.49. I'd had my eye on it on Amazon at £16 so was pleased :) So tempted to give it to her now though especially as her birthday is right on Christmas so double the presents in one week and no more through the year.

    PS - Get well soon!

Marta- Has she got any teeth yet? Little One settled after the first two blighters came through!

Sunshine - I had a moment a few weeks ago when I could have sworn I was pregnant, only the fact I knew better than that meant I didn't test! Hope you feel better soon x

Does anyone have a baby carrier for the back? We like sight seeing and find some sights aren't accessible with the pram so would like a carrier for our hols. Any good recommendations? Like the look of the Little Life Backpack type, but can't seem to find it much cheaper than about £80 (which by the looks of it is at the cheaper end of the carrier market) - any suggestions much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

What about an Ergo Moneypenny, you can back and front carry with those. They are £80 on Amazon at the moment, and an extra £15 off with code F56TZZG5 up until tonight. Pretty good price for them actually, they attach with a buckle so easy to adjust.

Edit: I tried a Madame Goo Goo yesterday and LOVED it, check her out on Facebook, I think her off the shelves start at around £88 plus postage. x

Hallo ladies, I've a quick question and apologize if TMI.
A had her first (8wk) jabs on Tuesday afternoon. She is exclusively breastfed. Since Wed her poos have been greeny yellow and mucousy. I popped into the clinic on Wed and they said that this is normal post jabs/if she has a cold, but its been 5 days now - is that still usual? Could it be something else? She's fine in herself though more drooly than usual and has been waking every 2 hrs through the night since Wed.

Have you had a change in diet Saf? It could just be the jabs or perhaps teething? With the extra spittle you can get some dodgy nappies.

Don't talk to me about Christmas!

There are so many different type of carrier moneypenny, might be worth paying a visit to a sling library. Manduca is a popular brand of full buckle carrier, so is connecta. There are also half buckles, mei tei, wraps, the list goes on & on :) Some libraries offer hire as well. I'm a fan of wrapping as I like the pretty fabrics but its definitely taking some learning! Here's a picture of George on my back, not the best wrap job but you get the idea...

We've been out today looking for clothes for me & George to wear to a naming day next weekend for a friends little boy. It's been a nightmare looking for a dress as we're Breastfeeding & George is currently on bottle strike. I looked at nursing dresses in mothercare & mamas&papas but they seemed to fit really badly :( I figure if I'm spending money then I want to be able to wear it once I've finished feeding. I ended up spending a little more than I wanted to but we have a few occasions this summer so I'll be able to wear it to those as well & it'll look nice with flip flops as well. I went for this from French connection...

I got George a couple of little shirts to try from mothercare in the sale & a really cute pair of shorts too, oops :)

OH is off for 2 days after his shift tonight so were going to get some bits done at home I think. We really need to get the apartment straight but we have so much stuff & no room to put it anywhere! There's only so much you can throw away too :(

Right, I'm going to put our swimming kit in the wash from our swim this morning. George is a real water baby, he loves it! In fact before I go, we saw a baby at swimming the other day with what looked like a clear rubber ring around its neck :o It clipped fastened but it seemed more like a torture aid than a swimming aid. Has anyone ever seen one or know what I mean?

I'm honestly going to put the washing in now :)
