No, I've had no change in diet and she's still feeding as she was previously.

    Thank you Bamama :)

Am I a terrible mother in that I'm not planning to buy A anything for her first Christmas? I figure she won't remember it and family (grandparents and her 8 aunts especially) will spoil her instead.

I don't think I'll be buying anything for Dewi. We'll probs have double of everything! I'll get some 18mo+ type toys in the January sales and put them away for June.

Sometimes eating something different can affect them. I had a jar of curry sauce and Dewi has the most vile nappy the day after. Haven't had that curry again.

No :) We didn't buy LO anything for her first xmas - she was 7 and a half months and won't remember a thing! My parents bought her a tripp trapp, which we got in October in time for weaning, and she got a few presents from relatives. What she did love though was unwrapping stuff! Paper and packaging is still one of her favourite things :) But whether the content was for her or for someone else was of no interest or relevance to her :o

Hallo ladies, I've a quick question and apologize if TMI.
A had her first (8wk) jabs on Tuesday afternoon. She is exclusively breastfed. Since Wed her poos have been greeny yellow and mucousy. I popped into the clinic on Wed and they said that this is normal post jabs/if she has a cold, but its been 5 days now - is that still usual? Could it be something else? She's fine in herself though more drooly than usual and has been waking every 2 hrs through the night since Wed.

It could be teething (although she's very young) or it could be the jabs or it could be some sort of bug, but if you're worried go back to the clinic and bring a 'sample' (i.e. a nappy with poo in it!) which they can send off for testing if you ask for it. My LO once had the kinds of nappies you describe for about 10 days, but she had diarrhoea, so I was worried about dehydration etc. They did some tests and found nothing, which helped reassure me that it was just a bug.

Had such a lovely afternoon today :) 24 degrees and sunny, we ate banana bread (still warm) and blueberries on the picnic blanket in the garden, LO was walking around picking little flowers and studying them, and the first handful of our little strawberries were ready to eat, so she helped pick (and eat!) those. Sunday afternoons don't come any better than that :D

I bought all our 12-18m clothes for Christmas last year ;) and then went to Next Boxing Day and bought all our 18-24 month in the sale and wrapped them up for his Birthday at the end of January. Like Nutellas wee one he loved ripping them open, and he loves clothes now so I think he'd still be excited

I would like to point out though, that all the stuff I bought, still doesn't fit :rotfl:

Thank you for that recipe, I'll have to have a look at doing something like that, we have a MAM dipper set (baby cuttlery for the baby to hold) and she's quite good with the spoon. Mind you, it is closer to a stick than a spoon, lol, but the ridges at the top help to hold thick purees. I tried it with porridge and it was ok, she holds either my hand or the spoon and munches on that. I will try with puree or mashed vegetables next week.

That Ergo is dead cheap. Had I seen it when I bought my Stokke, I'd have bought it.

The dress is really pretty, I like Peter pan collars, I wish I could go shopping now!!! But I'm going to wait until I lose some weight. Two weeks calorie counting and I've lost 4lb!! I'm dead chuffed! I'm sure it will slow down once my body gets used to the diet, but I'm to a good start. And I even had some wine, two meals out and hot chocolate :D

For those wanting to do some exercise, I found level one of the shred thing on Sky, the fitness channel, comes with the basic tv package. Also lots of other workouts like Yoga and Pilates. I also downloaded a free app from Nike, called Nike Training Club ( NTC) , it has lots of workouts, you select your target and intensity and it shows pictures or videos of how to do it. You can put your music as background. I thought it was great for a free app.

Moneypenny, she's got the bottom teeth out, well, just the first bit, they have cut through, you can see them. Unless there are more to come that I cannot see, I have no clue what is wrong with her *confused mummy*
