My lo loves being on her tummy, she sleeps on her side and the first thing she does is going on her tummy and grabbing a soft book I leave at the top. Every baby is different, she's as old as moneypenny 's, but no teeth here yet!

My lo is outgrowing her tippitoes bath but cannot sit unaided yet, although we have been putting her in the high chair this week. I don't know what to get next, I'm considering a bath insert for sitting, or one of those inflatable baths. I enjoy now having a bath with her but in different water, as her bath is inside my bath, so I'd like to continue to do so, but the insert would mean she'd be with me. I don't mind bathing myself with oilatum lol, but has anyone tried this? What are you using? I want to take advantage of the boots offers, which is 10 points per pound today, plus the discount of £15, then pay with points :D

I've bathed with Oilatum before, it's fine :D Makes your skin nice and soft.

We had the little bath seat thing from Amazon, we loved it :)

I've heard good things about oilatum too :D

Admittedly I've got 2 very close in age (16 month gap) but we do them together in the big bath, never used a baby bath through choice because of all the faffing about!

Lovely day here today :j my older ones have gone off out to play and littlies and me were playing with bubbles in the garden. I don't know who enjoyed it more, them or me :o

I can't remember what age mine was when he stopped hating being on his tummy... he would go into a frenzie trying to roll over when we put him down on it was quite cute lol. Once he had mastered rolling onto his back thier was no such thing as tummy time as he just rolled over instantly...!

Is what we had. Amazon sell it themselves for £8.95 but it's out of stock at the moment. We loved it :) and gave me piece of mind that he wasn't gonna slip and slide around

Oh, gillix, they have it at boots too I think. Until what age did you use it? When you said bath seat I thought it was one of those to "recline" with a "stopper" in between the legs, which is what I was looking at.

I was very happy with the tippitoes, but she cannot move her.legs and splash very well now. It allowed me to put her in it almost hands free without worries, and it was ideal because I put her in the bath to splash whilst I sat next to her and had my shower, two for one. As long as I kept an eye on her and I was right next to her, there was no dangerat all, she could not slip under the water.

Any recommendations for toys at 6 months or so? :D

I don't know what tippitoes bath is like, but we used a normal baby bath which we sat in the bath to bath him and then we went on to the seat above. I think we used it until around 9/10 months and then he just went in the bath without anything :) We bath him every night. I used to sit him in his high chair or bumbo style chair while I was in the shower. Now I just let him roam around the bathroom with the door shut while I shower... :o

That's the tippitoes mini bath, it's smaller than a regular normal baby bath, which would not have fitted over my bathroom cupboard. The inside is inclined, so you can use it from birth and they sit there in the same way as in the bouncer.

Has anyone got the britax first class car seat? Is it good? Easy to put baby in? DH says that he has been told isofix is better, but we don't even know if our car has isofix and I'm not sure it's really better or just an option. She hates the current infant car seat, but she's 5 1/2 months old, so I need one of those 0-1 car seats. I wanted rear facing for as long as possible too.

Hello ladies hope your all enjoying the weather, make the most of it, Britain doesn't do sun for long!

Question for you, my lo is 10 weeks, regarding belly time, how much did you do each day? I'm trying to get him to do at least 10minutes a day but it seems he gets annoyed if I do it longer, he's getting better at lifting his head but seems he has to be in the mood or hell just face plant the floor lol. What were your babies like at this?

    :)

I didn't really do any until about five months when his head was starting to look a bit flat and he was completely bald at the back :o
