Oh and nutella, measles first as it is the most likely to be caught and most likely to be serious, of the 3.0

We didn't split, but our GP will happily split the boosters and MMR. They won't separate out the MMR though. I decided to just get it over and done with in the one go as I'm a bit of a wreck when it comes to jabs. So far there have been no adverse affects but obviously only time will tell
he was completely fine with the first 3 lots too.
Edit: to say I think we can over read things and tie ourselves up in stats and examples and sometimes it's best to just go with instinct, so if you feel you'd rather split them, regardless of what you read I'd go for it!The frontier is never somewhere else. Is nobody splitting the 12-13month jabs? I know aimless is, but is anyone else?
They get 3 jabs in total for this one, so I'm going to do them one at a time, 4 weeks apart (following research I have done online). However I am undecided about the MMR and am going to ask my doctor if they will point it out rather than give the 3 in 1. If the doctor refuses, I will be taking Reu to have the, done privately separately, with measles first then rubella after. Mumps as a single injection is not available in the UK right now, so I'm not sure about thatbut from what I can see mumps is only dangerous if caught after puberty, and catching it as a child gives lifelong immunity....whereas the immunisation does not give lifelong immunity.
It's so very confusing!!0 -
https://www.jabs.org.uk is where I started. There's lots of links to various resources, and there's a forum too where people discuss combined vs single vs not at all.0

I had an mmr booster after I had squeak (the NHS insisted lol I only had it so they'd stop asking me!) And I felt terrible for a whole week
Now I feel extra bad when I take the littliesMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Mr here seems largely unbothered by jabs - even though his BCG jab of about a month back has finally swelled up into a boil like they said it might... looks gross!0

We went for the 3 in 1 like sammie and gilly. Have to agree I am a bit of mess with jabs too, more so since he had his hospital stay and had lots of meds pumped into him with us holding him still so id rather get it over and done.
We had a bit of a sniffle about a week later, which I put down to the mmr but tbh it could have been nursery or anything.
Have to say, I didnt research into it much either...I never had chance to.research what they gave him in hospital as it was too quick so I just went with what they said.
Aiden is really teething atm. I think its the old molars on the way! He is hungry but tries to.put something in his mouth and screams then puts his little fingers on his gums
He woke.up crying so I am cuddling him downstairs till he drops off again xxxLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Is ouch-y he doesn't seem too bothered by them, he just whines a lot more when he's awake. Just drones on and on. It's unpleasant for my ears
doesn't stop him nomming yummy things though... men, they like the sound of there own voices!
At our 1 year check thing they just said before he's 2 as they won't really do a proper appointment before then anyway xThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
