Peanut - my little one was never interested in toys at that age either and, like your little one, he never took any interest in the toys at baby groups etc. it's probably only been the last few months (he's 1 now) that he has interacted with his toys but then he is super lazy! I wouldn't worry just make the most of him wanting to sit on your lap before he tries squirming away!

Second that! It doesn't last. I'm forever trying to kiss and cuddle Freddie much to his disgust. He just wants to explore and bats me off. The closest he comes to affection is when he grabs great chunks of my face whilst shrieking with laughter.

:rotfl: lovely little things aren't they! Noah is my number 1 fan at the moment as I feed him chocolate Easter egg. He follows me everywhere, usually with his ear/eyebrow/nose covered in chocolate! I feel like the pied piper. :p

    Lol at chocolate bribes!

Peanut, my lo is now 15 weeks and I was also worried at her lack of interest for toys at that age. She started to be more interested at / after 12 weeks but even then she just touched slightly the surface of a lamaze toy and went back to staring at us. You are more interesting at the moment than any toy! Even now she cannot grab anything other than cloths for a long time. I started giving her a muslin to grab, and I chose one toy to offer only, so she would recognize it. She still doesn't show much interest in toys, though, she's more interested in doing raspberries, kicking her legs and playing with her hands. This week she is loving sneezes, I fake them with exaggerated face but not loud and she chuckles every time, also raspberries on her tummy, she's loving that and anything that involves bouncing, doing the plane slowly and any physical activity that takes her out of the ground. I'm loving these newly found chuckles and giggles!!!

Moneypenny, if she's getting all the sleep she needs and she's not unsettled, I guess it's ok! My lo started to sleep at 7-8pm for the night when we started to put her to sleep always in the same place (moses before, now cotbed) for naps and night time, plus started a bedtime routine around that time. Before she used to sleep at any point between 6:30pm and 10pm.

    I think I'm forgetting something...

Dewi is 15 weeks and still isn't reaching for things. However he is totally captivated by his own hand/fingers, will squeeze things that are in his hand and now thinks his mammy is hilarious. He especially likes when I pretend to eat him or use him as a weight for doing bicep curls. He loves it when his face crashes into my arm XD Oh... and he shouts. We get nice little "goo, ah goo" followed by "ah! Aaa-ahhhHHHH" lol ^^

Great price there :D you'll probably sell it for that much.

What.is considered temperature in a baby? My lo seems to have about 37-37.5C is that ok? She has been unsettled yesterday and today, she wants to nap yet she wakes up after half the time she normally sleeps. Should I worry?

Mine is 3.5 months now and only TODAY on the flight home started reaching for a toy. Or it may have been my imagination. He's certainly not done it before. He has, however, managed to accidentally grab toys and then nom them. The winkel (thanks Fluff for the recommendation and hope I got the name right) is great for this because just by waving his hands about if he's sitting in his bouncy chair he gets his hand stuck in it. The skwish is also good for that.
And today I gave him sophie and he nommed her too. I think we have teeth coming...

Freddie's got a new trick. If you put your head to one side, he copies you. If you shake your head from side to side he copies that too. It's his first deliberate imitating! Cute! By the time he's 30 he might be able to play pat-a-cake.
