We had orange bottles too. Except I was the prat who did it!

My baby is walking(ish) :j :j she is almost 15 months and is walking 5 or 10 steps at a time. Not as quick as her sister who was walking outside at this age.

Oh then the waste pipe came out of the washer flooding the kitchen floor... I just hung the 0-3 month babygros out on the line and it started to snow...

I'm now planning to hibernate since today's just become traumatic!

Sounds like a plan. I think you're having one of those days Dizzi :(

Just have a quiet day with some DVDs and abandon the housework.

My older lot are all completely hyper because of the chocolate yesterday. Ho hum.

Struggling here with Amelia, she's constipated bless her :(

Anyone know if giving her the water from boiling vegetables / fruit will help? Are we ok to do that?

Or is there anything over the counter we can give her?

Keep going dizzy with tiredness, been up since 3am with her, poor mite :(

Sorry to ask and run yet again, haven't had time to read back :o

I would just give cooled boiled water cake, or even half a teaspoon of brown sugar or pure OJ in an oz of water.

Offer foods like prunes, pears etc as they should help her go.

Thanks Gilly, been trying to get water down her for the last week. She just spits it out. Will give the OJ a try. Just a tiny bit I take it?

1 teaspoon of fresh pure orange mixed in to 3oz of cooled boiled water, even syringe it in if you need to? They only need to take about an oz of that anyway not all 3 x

Can try a few massage ones - there's one where you do semi circular motions around their tummy, and one where you cycle their legs like they're riding a bike that can move things along as well.

I think I need to buy new jeans - these are falling down - and they were on the small side before I got pregnant!

Sorry for caps but so excited! He then went till 9.30! I know it's a one off but wow I feel better for it :D

Question regarding monitors. At the moment we bring LOs basket into the front room for evenings but would like him to get used to going down alone. We can't afford a monitor at the moment but wondered if any others have managed without?

We've never had a monitor. It depends on the size of your house I guess but I can hear Freddie easily. You might not be able to hear all the little snuffles and snorts but, to my mind, that just makes you jumpy anyway and more likely to rush into their room when they're perfectly happy.

Freddie started sleeping in his cot (in our room) from about 7pm at about six weeks onwards. We'd check on him periodically until we went up ourselves. I've not missed having a monitor at all - knowing me, it would just make me neurotic :D

    Hi ladies,

Noah has been standing by himself all day today (not literally!!) he is soooo close to taking a step but he just lunges at me to grab him. When he's not concentrating he can stand for a good 60 secs, at least, on his own :)

Has anyone been watching Broadchurch on ITV?
