Peanut - yay for sleep!! :j
Delain - I HAVE to be in bed by 10 most nights as I'm a grumpy so and so otherwise!!
What diet are you on? I'm doing weight watchers but I've stayed the same for a couple of weeks now so I'm losing interest!

I'm not doing WW or anything, I just downloaded an app called calorie counter which was free and have been using it to log all the food and exercise.
Maybe I should do a proper plan, because on mine it shows as good if you're at or under your calorie allowance, regardless of whether I ate three healthy meals or just a whole packet of chocolate hobnobs:o

Delain, that's the best way, as long as you keep within your weekly allowance, you'll lose weight. I did a calorie counter diet a couple of.years ago and lost a stone and a half.in 7-8 months. You have to persevere, but it does work and the fact that you can allow yourself a treat, or even go over for a day, as long as you balance it out during the week, helps a lot. I need to do it again, I put all that back and more during the pregnancy!!!Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

Monitors : you can get an audio only.for around £20 at Argos, Amazon Mothercare... And a video one for £45 at Argos, that's the one I got, the Motorola MBP28 or something like that, it's half price. Not great quality, it activates sound only when she makes a noise, but it has given me back the living room, no more tiptoeing around and I can clean stuff with products without worry. I moved.the basket from room to room until she was 3-4weeks, it's a pain in the backside. Then I let her sleep on me in the carrier, but I could not do all the housework or have a shower whilst she slept. We bought a travel cot on offer for the living room and that.worked a bit, but light and noises kept waking her up before she felt rested. We live in a flat, so I could put her in her moses with the door open and I'd hear her no problem if she cried, but I couldn't have the tv volume up or go to the kitchen, because I would not hear her until she fully cried. I put the monitor this week and it's great I close both doors so I can be noisy and she can sleep. Have you look in freecycle? Put a wanted post, maybe someone has one to give.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

Monitors 2: I forgot to mention, some people just download an app and put either another phone or laptop with camera in the baby's room, then monitor him/her with the other phone. It might be worth looking at that if you have a smartphone and a webcam. There are apps for "baby monitor".Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

Thanks so much for all your replies about food
She's always been a big girl with a big appetite and has stayed just below the 91st centile since birth (following the curve perfectly), she's also very long, but I do worry that she's now becoming a bit overweight. We'll see what the weigh-in brings
I replaced her afternoon bottle with a snack today and she didn't seem to mind, so will stick to that from now on I think.

Whoever asked about naps, I was going to come on and say my boy was a half an hour at a time napper until about 7 months when he started doing one short (30-45min) andone long (45-90min) per day......except today where he slept for 3 hrs this morning, and an hour this afternoon!!!!0

Jeans that were actually a bit too tight pre-pregnancy - go! (Not bad for just under a fortnight huh? But I do gain minimal weight and actually probably lose a bit while pregnant)
Erin's had a pretty rotten night with teeth - although I do get worried that she grins from ear to ear when the calpol comes out in a bit of a drug addled way... ended up with me having her in bed with me, and hubby on a mattress in the lounge watching Robyn - I got big girl snuggles and much more sleep!
Erin's in a 2 year old's skirt today which fits perfectly! In her defence though it's a continental label from TKMaxx so they always come up ridiculously small anyway at least.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
And Robyn now has orange bottles... after ONE FLIPPING WEEK because some PRAT (Daddy) put them in the dishwasher with tomato stuff - after I'd told him endlessly not to!Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0
