Going to start switching Erin to cow's milk when she's 1 a week on Tuesday - run down the remaining formula stock gradually changing over and then I'm not planning on sterilising her bottles (she won't take milk from a beaker - since she'll take water from one happily I'm disinclined to fight that battle at the moment when she's got a younger sibling's arrival to deal with) - can get some space in the steriliser to not need to do all Robyn's in the microwave then!

Noah is on cows milk now but I am still sterilising his bottles. I have found that he doesn't like change (like ds2) so I think that's why he wouldn't drink out of a beaker for so long that's why I'm trying not to give him a bottle as I don't want him to not want his beaker again if that makes sense!

He is loving ryvita at the moment! He looks at me for more as soon as he's finished it!!

And god my mother is soooo obvious. Following on from the saga of the in-laws just "happening to be passing" when Robyn was born (which I strongly suspected my mother was behind making a phonecall to them against my explicitly stated wishes) - my mob come down this afternoon and we get lots and lots of overly nonchalant "oooh has MIL been down yet"s.

Still not giving me enough to take her to task on it though unfortunately.

    Morning ladies :)

Hope everyone had a good night - ours was pretty good, she slept from 7pm until 6am with only half an hour of awake-time in the middle of the night!

Sunshine, nice to see you - I was thinking of you yesterday and wondering how you were getting on. Yay for walking and house sale! :jHave you found somewhere you want to buy yet? But boo to MMR - I'm dreading that, I thought it was only one injection! Happy shoe shopping :D

Have a good day all x

As far as I know it is just one, there's two boosters that a lot of places put together with it. I've asked to do the boosters separately and they were happy to do it.

Am wondering if I should cut out LO's afternoon bottle - she's 10 and a half months, so I'm thinking she should only be having her morning and evening bottles now? When did others get rid of the third bottle, and what did you replace it with? I'm thinking I could add an afternoon snack, although I would need to speak to the nursery, as she has lunch there at 11.30am and dinner at 4pm, and there's no way she could go that long without food... She currently has a bottle at 2pm.

I tried giving LO her afternoon milk in her water beaker yesterday - she looked horrified and didn't want it! She happily drinks water from it all day, but milk obviously seems wrong :oI've tried a couple of times in the mornings too as I figured it would be handy if she could feed herself as I get dressed, but it doesn't work. I think there's a major comfort element to milk - she loves cuddling up on my lap with her bottle, so sitting in a high chair with milk in a beaker probably isn't quite as enjoyable... :o
