I love the look of the Jumperoo but just don't think we can justify the cost :(

I thought that, and I have been waiting until I got an offer. I was tracking several on eBay the seat is fabric and can be washed and everything else can be cleaned with some antibacterial stuff / Milton. It might take a while until one is at the right price but it's well worth it. Somebody here said she was selling hers a few pages ago, I replied in the thread but not sure she saw it, maybe you could pm her and see how much she wants? She said she lived in Lancashire. I can try to find the post.

  • Morning ladies. I have had a bad night, lo has been up all night, milk is not settling him, wind has been causing him upset. Me and oh are at end of sanity lol lack of sleep!! I woke him up convinced we had lo in bed with us, of course we didn't! Does anyone else dream that? I keep waking up panicked!!

Just feeding lo a bottle hoping this will buy me a couple of hours dreaming!! Oh is out today wetting the babies head!! Bets on whether hell make it after tonight? :)

Hmmm am I the only one that misses bank holiday lie ins? Lol. Just having a change and a feed, so hoping he'll go back down after for a bit. Although he's currently very smiley!

Ah well, we're away without him next week so we get 2 nights of FULL SLEEP! Bliss :)

Evening everyone. Had sleepless nights the last couple nights, hoping its just with colds. Someone mentioned a few weeks ago about sleep regression at 4months, could be that I suppose. Does it normally last long?

I think this is (yet another!) thing that varies from baby to baby, but for us it lasted around 10 days- although it felt like much longer than that! :o Hope your nights improve very soon.

Midwife's coming again on Sunday - should be my usual midwife if the rotas are correct - it's a bit inconvenient since my family are visiting then and I won't be allowed to raise queries with her since my mum will shout me down for being neurotic and paranoid like normal...

Ban them from being present when the midwife visits. If you don't feel able to do this, have a word with your midwife before she comes and ask her to do it. She can breezily say something like 'I like to see my ladies alone - it's policy' or whatever and then it won't be your fault.

Don't allow your family to bully you, dizzi.

Does anyone have a Quinny Zapp stroller? I'm thinking about getting a lightweight stroller - our travel system is really bulky and heavy and I'm tired of lugging it around airports and fighting to get on buses :o I like the look of the Quinny Zapp, but am also contemplating a Maclaren Globetrotter (although I really really want another 3-wheeler; I love them :)). Alternatively, if anyone has any recommendations for lightweight 3-wheelers I'd love to know! Looking to spend no more than £150 (new - not second hand).
