I recently got my first tattoo, I have Euler's Identity on my wrist.

It is a mathematical formula. I had it done as I said when I was in first or second year at university that if I got a first class honours in my maths degree I would have it tattooed on me thinking I'd never in a million years get a first.....

Yes, but your face at aged 20 - then you'd never age (until it started to sag again).

Or more disturbingly, have someone else's lifesize face on your face. That would freak them out.

After my post last night. I'm getting some sort of Zebra design and setting up a sponsorship for the HMSA :)

Might as well try and raise some money at the same time, and give them pics of me in pain getting it done :)

There's an idiot round here got a massive spider's web tattoo in black, complete with large red spider, on his FACE!!

Needless to say, he'll tell anyone within earshot how much he regrets having it done!

I have a treble clef on my wrist and am thinking about getting the crowded house lyrics" still so young to travel so far, old enough to know who you are" on my ribs.
I find statements like the one about someone with tattoos moving in next door funny! Some of the most respectable people I know have tattoos including policemen, teachers and even a minister.

I've got the wording "times short and lifes your own" on my back, which is from a guns n roses song I loved as a teenager (luckily still do!)

I'm thinking of having the song lyrics "even though your gone, you still mean the world to me" from a song called "in loving memory" if I do have this it'll be as a tribute to my grandad who passed when I was a teenager.

I have no problem with tattoos, my husband has got several including one whole arm piece, and the majority of his friends do too, along with piercings etc but you could not wish to find a nicer group of lads - personally though I'd never get one that can't be covered up easily with clothing, I recently had this discussion with hubby over his lower arm tattoo!

I understand some people really hate them, which is completely fine, but no one should be judged because they have them either.
