I would! As would most people I know.. we appreciate honesty. My stepdad once bought my mother a huge green frog brooch.. he has never, 20 years later, lived that down lol.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

I have a lyric from a song called Juliet by Army Of Freshmen across my back it reads "I'm working on my battle plan and wishing on a star" It has a treble clef a shooting star and smaller straight line stars in bright happy colours. The words really struck a cord with me when I heard them as that is the sort of thing I do. I plan things in detail but in the background I'm praying it will pan out as I have hardly any faith in myself.
I have my mum & dad's names on my wrist I lost my dad when I was 5 and my mum is my best friend, she is the strongest bravest woman I know and one of the most resliant and if I turn out half as strong as her I'll be happy.
I then have a burlequest girl dressed as a cat with lepoard corset in black and white on my left on my ribs. She is my inner muse so to speak in that I wish i had her style and grace.
On my right hip I have the logo of the festival I go to ever year but the special 10 year one. I have had it done in blue rather than the red of the true logo. It is to remind how much my life has changed in the last 10 years how far I have come despite the knocks I have taken. I was 17 when I started going to the festival. This year will be the 11th consecuative year I have gone and it will also be my honeymoon.
My next tat is booked in for April the 30th and will be my wedding date in Roman numaralsFirst Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0

This is the internet - what we say here and what we say in real life are different.
I amsure people have had discussions on forums about others weight hair & dress sense.
Personally, I would never get a tattoo - I do not see the attraction of them at all, would never be able to justify spending the money on them (Have a million other things to spend my money on) and do't see the need to inflict pain on myself and disfigure my body.
If i seen someone with an obvious tattoo (One which cannot be covered up) I think to myself that they are an idiot) - why do it?
Even if you like it a number of employers probably won't.
What really annoys me is the number of people on benefits that are walking around with tattoos (that they got while on benefits) - given teh price of tattoo's they should not be able to afford it.
If a new neighbour moved in with 1 or 2 nice tattoos I probably wouldn't be bothered, if they had a sleeve done or something I personally would not like it!Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0

Some tattoos can be pretty, but I think you should be able to cover them up. I have a celtic knot tramp stamp (hate that name), which I love everytime I see it, because it's never on show. I used to work with one woman though who had sailor style tattoos down both of her arms, and for some reason a chinese lucky cat on her side...0

It is a mathematical formula. I had it done as I said when I was in first or second year at university that if I got a first class honours in my maths degree I would have it tattooed on me thinking I'd never in a million years get a first.....
Well it's natural you would want to log an occasion like that. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

I have a foetus/embryo on my arm. Got it when I was 20 and now i am 40. I still love it. it was to remind me of my ambition to have children one day. Now i have two lovely kids and the tattoo is a daily reminder of how i carried them inside my body. A wonderful thing.
that said - i have another tattoo which i don't like. thakfully it is very small.
want another one though. the words "phenomenal woman" from the wonderful poem by Maya Angelou. Right where i can see it every day (not sure where that might be though).
My husband also calls me "gorgeous" i would like that somewhere on my body too.0

I have a little pink dolphin at the very bottom of my back. Had it done years ago when OH was having a tattoo. Regretted it ever since!!!! Don't know why I regret it as it has meaning to me and OH and I can't see it and he's the only other person to have seen it, but if I were to go back in time I wouldn't have had it done. But I suppose life is too short for regrets!0
