i have this on my inner wrist it is Ghanian an Adinkra symbol and means by Gods Grace which is my spiritual tattoo.

I also have the southern cross which was done by a hairy old tattooist in the red light district in Sydney and a sun with the world in it which I got in NYC at the end of my world tour.

they have complete meaning and I will get another on at some time but not in any rush....

I want to get a blue dot like Phoebe in friends. OH is getting a Maori tattoo soon, so I am temped ask the tattooist if he will do me a dot.
  • I've never liked them, but would like to have two hearts to remember my mum and dad.
my daughter has a little rose on her wrist and on her back "if you dream it you can do it" which are beautiful and can be covered up.

I have 8 tattoos and they spell out a story of some special people and special situations :) i want the word survivor tattooed on my stomach next to my hysterectomy scar as that scar is a sign i fought and survived cancer despite the fact i was so ill, i want a particular date on my foot as something really special happened on that date and i want the word warrior on my left wrist as has special significance for me :) my brother has just had Mum's name tattooed on his hand... Mum went mad at him :D my favourite tattoos are on my left leg and say 'Number 9' and 'FNRG' they sound bizarre and like they wouldnt mean anything but they both have deep and special meanings to me :)

I have a tramp stamp, a sun in the small of my back. I got it done 15 years ago, before everybody and their uncles had them there. Still, I don't regret it. I designed it myself over a year, and I love it still. :)

Oh, and it doesn't mean anything. I just wanted a tattoo really.

Nowadays, I REALLY like full sleeve tatoos, or whole back designs. I like those better than the titchy crappy ones in odd places. At least they show commitment! lol

I'd maybe go for a double helix, or some of my favourite equations.

I sort of want one, and sort of don't. What looks good in my 30's will probably look stupid in my 70's.

I have a few things in mind, one is a particular saying, that is my signature on a couple of other forums, and those who recognise me on here will probably know what I am on about.

I love ankle and foot tattoos, and there is an amazing female tattooist locally that specialises in all colour tattoos, no black which are just amazing.

I love stars, but everybody has them, so I probably would never have them now on principle!

I could never be the sort of person to just pick one out of a book and just let anyone tattoo me though! Too permanent to chance!

to be honest, if a woman moved in next door to you who had tattoos, your heart would sink, wouldn't it?
    !

Well no, because my neighbours on both sides have very small tats with meanings that are close to their hearts, as I do. Mine is the logo of the fellowship I belong to and the date I 'joined', and hardly ever visible to others as I very seldom wear sleeveless clothes.

I'm considering permanent eye liner as I wear it every day. If I don't my eyes look faded, so it would save me a lot of expense and time from buying and applying

My daughters best friend has had a small camel tattoo-ed on the underside of her big toe (very tickly spot!)

It's so she can approach strangers and ask if they'd like to see her "Camel-Toe"......
