If there is one thing I've learned on the DFW board (and i've learnt much more) is that people will help and offer support no matter what the problem is. Same here. I may have been somewhat opinionated, but thought it best to do my usual straight talking, especially when I can see others thinking it. Truely hope everythings works out in your favour on the morrow.

Morning all - I do hope that everyone had a great evening, I watched wife swap!!!!!!

As you can probably guess my sense of humour has decided to pop its head in which is nice. Was surprised that the puppies slept till 8.00am this morning till I went down to let them out and realised I must have left the outhouse dooor open and they had probably been happily playing in the garden for the last few hours!!! So my silver lihining to the back door not shutting was sleep!!

I know what I want to say, and I do have to accept that I do "nag", like he doesn't know how to put the oven on, and various other things. I know it must seem daft but if I look at it from his point of view, it must be waring and dabilitating.

I did stress that he has to realise that though I locked the back door, it was his choice from there on in, and had he done nothing the Police would not have been able to do anything.

Thanks again for all your wise and wonderful words, I will let you know how I get on.

Right then feeling a bit sick and nervous - the girls are just about to go to my friends around the corner. Need to stay calm, own my statements, not blame and actively listen to what he has to stay

Remember HE i s in the wrong. HE smashed up your family home and scared you and the girls. HE is the one who runs up debts AND THEN doesn't care how it affects his family. YOU are not to blame for wanting some help from HIM to sort out HIS debts. There is no way that YOU should be fielding the scum bailiffs for HIM. HE IS AN ADULT AND HE SHOULD PAY HIS OWN WAY AND BE RESPONSIBLE.

Sorry but it make me mad that you think you are to blame for all this because you 'nag'. BUT if he was a responsible mature bloke, then he would see that HE has to do this for HIMSELF and you wouldn't have to nag, you would just have to support him.

Make sure YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT FROM THIS CONVERSATION. Don't let him manipulate you into taking the blame.

Sorry but it makes me mad how some OH are to the people they should love most in the world
