Well we talked and talked, he totally got that his behaviour was out of order, and it was not me that got him arrested but his action and his choices that he made. He also admitted that he is at fault of not communicating when I am upset. It is long and complicated but we have both agreed that we need to use this incident as a building block and use it as a positive experiance to grow from. I have said that I am not quite there yet, but feeling a lot better today.

I asked but said I could not make him, but I would like him to tell his parents the whole truth, he has agreed to do so and said that I was not out of order asking and it was only the smallest thing that he could do for me.

I know that a lot thing one bad thing there will be another, I though have an innate faith in people and yes I will give him another chance, I am also aware that we both have to make this work.

Anyways that is where we are. He understands why I worry about money so much, I will hand some responsability to him, I need to as I need to releive the stress. I also need to address some issues my self, my weight has plummeted to about 8.7st over the last few months, I am 6ft, so it is not healthy, this is an issue for me to address and he promises to support me but not bully me.

Thank you again, and yes I cant say it enough if it was not for here and your kindness and supoort, I have no idea how I would have got through this.

Hi SF, I hope you can both move forward on this, working together on all these issues. Remember though that you are worth more than you had to put up with over the weekend, so stay strong and don't allow things to go backwards.

We will be here if you need x

Glad things have come out on a positive form, and that your OH admits he needs to take responsibilities for his debts. Being underweight and stressed to heck over finances is not good, because aslong as you are stressed you will NOT gain and your weight will keep dropping off (spoken from years of experience). All that will happen is that you will burn yourself out.

So glad you seem to be coming out of this with some positive feelings - hope very much it all works out....but don't forget he does need to keep his share of the bargain - the growth you want won't come just from you trying hard. Take care of yourself.

Urghhhhhhhh - got that horrid sick feeling about the whole thing when I have been looking around for a replacement mobile. My mobile is only about 3 months old, and I have had a really old one that was going wrong. Through OH work, we got a contract phone, for us in the long run it saves money anyways that is not the point!!

To replace it would cost several hundred quid if I bought one as payasyougo and put my sim in it. Just really !!!!!! off cos it was about the only nice new shiny thing I have. I think that I have found one for £50 which is quite cute but it is not my shiny phone that I used to polish and never had a scratch on it.

He can deal with the home phones but I will chose the mobile phone I want.

    Sorry rant over -
