Oh Buffy - was so not expecting that. I'm so sorry to read this.
Take your time and do what you need to do. Decluttering, flirting, crying, taking to your bed, screaming and shouting.
You are a wonderful person - don't forget that...

Buffy - I'm so sorry to hear your news and understand you must be feeling pretty carp at the moment.
I have done the whole dating thing etc - and it hasn;t worked out multiple times. It's taken a while, but I am now truly happy on my own with the piggies and can;t even envisage wanting to go out and find someone... let alone sharing my current life/abode with them.
I guess this is because I have finally recognised and come to terms with who I really am as a person...and the new friends I have made accept and value me as an individual in my own right.....and I/they don;t "judge" me as "should be one half of a couple".
So remember Hun - you;re wonderful - just like me - with or without another half!
Stay strong Hun....perhaps you fancy a wee visit to some friends in Winnie the Pooh country in July to chill out a bit? Offer is there.......

So sorry to hear about you and your man breaking up. What a shock for you. And you are quite entitled to ball your eyes out over it, for a bit...
