hi lincsdan maybe try paracetamol with that water for the headache, you being frazzled what with wanting a !!! and it being miserable doesnt help, just pretend that heater is the warmth of the sun on a sunny beach and the tea is actually a long island iced tea!
its only your first day and how you managed to find something positive( the bit about it not being all bad) to say is great, did you see my first day?!
a week on though and calmness has restored
    keep it up peops xx
I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p

    Hi Everybody

Well done for keeping going! At 10.40pm tonight it will be 2 weeks since I had my last cigarette :T:T:T I went to the clinic last night and my CO reading was 2, so much better than 31  two weeks ago. I'm feeling really proud of myself :D I even survived the monthly shopping trip last night with my partner and two kids without stopping at the kiosk on the way out for a packet of tabs!! Lots of deep breathing and a piece of gum saved the day!!:rotfl:I'm now convinced I'm going to do it this time :D

Keep it up everybody, you know you can do it ;)

Congratulations AB!!! :T:T:T:T:T:T:T What a way you've travelled and what an incentive for everyone here who's knew to it, or relatively new. Folk like you & MFD telling how far a long you are can only be a fantastic boost for them. Very well done! :T

Red - you are going great guns and deserve to be so proud of yourself, just think how far you are to getting back to great health!!! :D Your finances must be so different too! A great achievement so far ....and just 1/2 way to a month! You can do it!

Dan - as bubbles says have a couple of paracetamol for the headache, mostly it'll be caused by the stress of it being the first day in. You'll soon pass this stage though and then move onto the glowing with pride part! :D Keep thinking of that little on and his/her Dad on the way to great health! Those tips bubbles gives about warmth from the fire are great ones, try to go with them.

Good luck all, you know you're well on the way to far better health.... and pockets!:D
