    Hi Bubbles,

They'll last a little while, but they get less and less and usually after the 4th says things calm down a lot, you'll be so pleased with yourself then. Keep taking plenty of water whenever you have the cravings, orange juice (not squash) too. Take plenty of exercise and pound it all out of your system. You'll soon get there if you try hard to think of different things, starting with your little lad! He'll be so proud of you when he's older. I'll send you a PM in a mo, that will hopefully be of some help to you. Keep writing your feelings on here as that'll help so much.

Congratulations ExNicotineQueen!!! Well done on a great achievement for you both! :T Someone else here was going to have hypnotherapy 2 or 3 weeks ago so I'll be interested to see if she tells us of it's success .....or not! Hopefully she'll be doing well at quitting by now.

Well done to you too Doltage as I'm sure I read just now that you've made 3 months already, brilliant news!!!:T You too for your month marjem!!:T Good for you IRT1959! Keep strong and you'll soon become so healthy! Such a shame hutch, I do so hope you'll soon be back to the quitting again, at least you know you can do it. Fingers crossed for you!

Keep strong Drea and don't let him be the one to put you off or you'll never forget it!! All these things are meant to be and who knows who's round the corner for you! Make a pledge for him NOT to make you quit - you're too strong for that. Keep at it in spite of him and think of your health! Far more important any day! :D

Keep it up Drea for YOU!!!

    Hi Folks

Well done to all those that have just started quitting or stayed quitting.

Just a quick update, I've now been stopped 1 Week 9hours 55mins. Have saved £36.71, not smoked 156 cigarettes and saved 13hours of my life. I love the SilkQuit pop-up it gives me inspiration everyday. To be honest I've found this non smoking attempt very straight forward but that is possibly due to a change in lifestyle and a new BF who doesn't smoke. I even went to a party on Saturday and never got one urge to smoke. There wasn't one single smoker there and I know I would have felt really embarrassed if I'd had to go for a cigarette.

    Long may it continue :D

    Hi everyone

Just to warn you that I may be here constantly after next week as my OH is going on a business trip and traditionally I always smoked more out of boredom and lonliness.

However I am trying to stay positive that I won't give in. I keep reminding myself that this time I have stopped for myself and not him so having one while he is away is just cheating myself.

To all the newer people who are really struggling - it does get better - in the early days I thought obsessively about smoking, I even dreamed of smoking. Now there is only a few times I think to myself that I could fancy one...but then I snap myself out of it. Just think of how great the achievement is and how many smokers wish they could do what we are doing.

So apologies in advance if I dominate the thread next week - but I'll try and think of some positive things to say as well as rant !!!!!!!!!!

Hi marjem, I reckon you'll be ok, you've come this far now and are so positive and that's amazing! Somehow I can't see you going back - not now after coming so far on the journey. Still, you know that we're all here for you and will encourage and support you all we possibly can. You know you're welcome to send me a pm if you hit a sticky patch too so don't forget. Keep thinking of your health, pocket and YOU!!! :D

Well done Red and Bubbles, you both sound in a much better frame of mind, especially you bubbles! It's so good when you manage to stick at it no matter what. You both sound as though you're in here for the long haul - just as feedumall was when she started - and look at her triumph of 3 & 1/2 months!!!!! You've done marvellously feedum, very well done! :T Thanks for the kind words, I've been indisposed, but fine now though.

Keep it up all, you too Lula!!!:D
