Hi jinky, thank you for that. I really want to do it this time. For my health first and foremost and second, there could well be a man in the running and he does not smoke. And it all looks quite promising at the moment. So am getting my butt into gear and sorting it. Am going to put a fiver a day away as well and treat myself later on. Or pay off my credit card x x x x x

Frankly I'm glad to have a bit of company as I'm sure I saw a tumbleweed rolling by on this thread earlier :rolleyes: .

Smashedbooboo, definitely a good idea to bin the ashtrays & any other smoking related trinkets. I do still have an onyx africa shaped ashtray but it's never been used as too pretty & a memento so 'sacred'.
A potential man is a brilliant motivator too, having ditched the last 'smoking model' I'd have to have a non smoking one in the future ( unless Johnny Depp comes a knocking with a 10 pack of course )
