Rubbing patch feverishly over here. Just been for a walk and got wet in the drizzle. Good luck with the "tat" Naomim - we have loads at home as well and really should sort it out. I made a deal with OH, if she digs it all out and puts in the spare bedroom, I will list it all.
Keep us updated on when you plan to stop :) I find reading and posting here coincides with me wanting to smoke

Every time I think about smoking have to run along here and ramble a bit, seems to help. Especially after the eating thing, just had veg soup, plenty of carrots in it!

Tat seems to sell well on ebay, the stuff you think will sell just gets ignored, anyone for a used pair of trainers (they were washed) but people were bidding against each other! :T

I can't believe how good I feel today. Smug even :D

Every time I needed a cigarette, I sorted out some finance stuff.

So far I now have the new phone on a monthly plan.

I cancelled the British Gas plumbing at £29.75/month

    I will be ironing tonight.

I have been eyeing up the stuff in my house ready to ebay (which I have never done before)

I should have joined here ages ago. :j

This is tougher today than yesterday but will power will win the day. i gave also brought lunch today, so between no sandwich and ciggie purcahses I think that is £16 saved in just 2 days. OK so over the month:

    30 smoke free days = 30x£5.50 = £165
    20 lunch from home days = 20x£2.50 = £50
I would also buy mints/drink/bag of crisps when buying my smokes, that is at least another £1/day = £30

Total target saving of £245 pounds in June alone!!! OMG!

I have been moaning about the cost of fuel/food - I think it will get more than covered!!
We are off camping in 2 weeks time, just for 2 nights, the whole lot will get paid for "by itself" if I dont spend between now and then. I may celebrate by having staek on the BBQ and not just sausages :)
Rambling and craving over.....back in about 1 hour lol
  • Miia thats great, I moved my lounge furniture last night to clean properly not just a quick swish, and I felt so much better, the ironing is on the list tonight.

Oh and I made a cake last night for DS, out of the squishy pears in the fruit bowl, unfortunatley most of it went to MILs this morning with DS!! :o

Gum disease caused by cigs is no fun either - not to mention the expense of seeing a peridontist to try to save your teeth from falling out and losing more bone tissue!!!!

That is not often mentioned in the side effects of lovely Sir Nick.

  • Lewki, when you work it out like that it seems even worse, the number of times I ended up with chocolate, and mints, and maybe a magazine(if I had no cash and there was a minimum spend on your card). Also how much did we spend on lighter! Just been into Tescos (didn't buy a thing!!!!) they are £1.09 each for a chuck away one.

Nothing on ebay yet but I am going through my make up! I think you would find that pretty useless lol

BTW - wow about your savings which pays for the camping. Woo hoo, what an incentive and all your family proud of their dad and husband added in to the bargain too.
