    Hi all, well im on the way to day 6 :j . I wont lie, the cravings are excruiciating sometimes but im determined to see it through. Had a bad night's sleep last night, tossing and turning with the most awful indigestion thrown in and some very surreal dreams (im on patches). On the positive, i have saved 30 quid so far.

    Hope you all are doing ok with your cravings.

    Hey Honeypie,

    good to hear from you, was wondering where you'd got to:confused:
    Glad you're still battling, know just what you mean as I had a huge wobbly & nearly caved in on day 12 :eek: but got a firm talking to from the gang & now approaching week 3 & feeling much calmer. Still reckon a 'crisis' could throw me tho. Going to see foofighters on saturday & that could be very challenging as wont have my sensible parent head on, it'll be the wild old stay out & party all night Lula head ;) . Will do my best tho.

    Well done on your achievement so far, dont give in now :p

    Hey Lula,

    Saying you feel better in week 3 is encouraging... I have been well p'd off tonight! can't lift my mood if you know what I mean :p .

    Oh the FooFighters will be great.. I have had my 'honey' head on, and been out a few times during the non smoking weeks, and I think its easier when your in a non smoking place - so I find the pub a haven hahaha. ! I hope you really enjoy the gig - I am sure you will refrain from smoking! I find the hangover is no where near as bad either !

    My DS has completely lost interest in me not smoking now!! its sooo yesterdays news... - this is the person who never used to shut up about it!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

    I still haven't caught up on the thread! Loads has been going on!!

    Welcome LEWKI - no smoking and no spending! Tall Order - your doing really well :T

    Ok I'm back on the wagon today :j I'm trying a different tactic. I haven't put the patch on :shocked:. I find it wears off about 4pm when I finish work so today I'm not putting it on until later and will see if it last's me. I might not need it at all ;)

    Good luck Lewki & Wannabemoneysavingstar for the car trips. You might find yourselves sticking your head out the windows to get some "fresh" air like a dog! :rotfl:

    Good morning my lovely non-smokers, hope we're all keeping well and not struggling too much.

    Hopefully you'll steer yourself onto the correct path again Naomim, the next time you think about having a cigarette think about how you felt *after* you had the one which put you back a few steps? I'm guessing you didn't feel too good, I'm also guessing there was a little bit of disappointment and some guilt thrown in for good measure? What possible good could that do you? You know you don't need them filthy fags and we'll keep you on the straight and narrow.

    Keep us up to date and follow the example of some of the other posters and pop along here and pour your heart out to us, it's anonymous, therapeutic and we've all experienced what you're going through and can advise on what to do.

    <edit>

    Just out your MSE head on for the night at the Foo Fighters Lula, you paid probably about £40 for the ticket and you'll not have to nip outside the arena for a smoke so you'll see the whole show, get your money's worth?! I'm enjoying gigs more now I don't have to worry about nipping out for a smoke!

    Ok the 11am smoke break has been and gone and whilst I've not had one I'm craving "something" I've got that empty feeling like something is missing. I can understand why so many people eat rubbish during this time. I'm going to walk round the office to the water cooler... :o
