Hi everyone. good luck on your quits.
I've been stopped 6 months today!!!!!!!!
I'm a happy bunny, I don't smell like an ashtray anymore, my kids don't tell me I stink, I don't get cold/wet coz I have to nip out and have a puff. I don't have to go to shop just before it shuts to make sure I have a nicotine fix. I have more money-apparently-maybe kids just get more bought for them now.
It's good to be alive and no doubt I've added some extra time to my life on account of having a more healthy lifestyle.
    Continued good luck everyone

Has anyone read ths book which i have bought...it makes a LOT of sense.. Trying to hurry up and finish it, to see what thoughts I need to put into action, to make it work..

    oh yeah, magic. It's how I stopped. :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T It's the BEST!!!!!

re: the Max Kirsten vid. BitDefender is web protection software - you need to load it to change the settings to allow the video to be played. It seems it is currently set to block it. Look in your 'start menu' - 'all programs' to see if it is there. Alternatively, it could be one of the icons on the bottom right (your system tray). Hover your mouse over each one. If one says BitDefender, right click it and see what the options are. One may be 'allow this site' or 'change settings' or temporarily disable'. Any of these should give you access to the vid.

    tattycath - well done, hun :T :T :T

Hi all ... bit self indulgent this - forgive. Boy is this sweating out of me, also finding it harder to go to sleep - not really a big problem, but having my mind active while still awake is a challenge because it only wants to think about one thing,, having real vivid dreams (nah - I am not telling, lol) ...

Nailed my feet to the floor last night to avoid going to the shops just before they closed - Saturday night - hey, maybe just for a packet of 10, just for that first drag - and heard myself go thru' the rationale - nobody will know, it's just ten, then you can start again etc etc etc.

PS: I won the battle - f88k it was hard. It really is pathetic that we allow this to happen to us - mind control. Won the battle, but it was close so so so close

PPS : Just realised why I couldn't sleep well - it's the nails thru my feet - I never could sleep standing up.(apologies j/k)

Well done MF. I think most have done the vivid dream thing. you're not alone there.

Write down the reasons for stopping - as many as you can think of - and refer to it while you are nailing your feet down, just as a reminder. It may help sway the debate you have with yourself.....

    Hi everyone,

    Well done tatty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope i can say the same thing in 5 months time!!!!!!!!

Elle well done for posting, i think the best thing for me was to come on here all of the time and moan.

So far no one has told me to bog off so i cant be that bad lol

I think maybe you should go see your dr who will be able to tell you the best options for you, i know a lot of people on here have sworn by champix and the help drs are offering now is great!!!!!!!!

Just remember that your kids will be proud of you no matter what and every single cig not smoked is better for you!!!!

Have you thought about joining any of the monthly challenges (non smoke related) to see if any of the lovely Old Stylers can help with cutting the cost of food shopping, or one of the making money challenges, every penny helps (gosh im going on a bit, shutting up now thou)

Hope this helps, if you need to moan, scream, wynge or shout about how good you feel just come say hi

    xx
