morning all ,660 ciggs not smoked:eek: ,155 pounds not spent at old prices have gone up again i think
hope you all have a super dooper smoke free day
,oh and mfd their are no calories in donated ice cream , and if you break biscuits all the calories fall out:D ,always store chocolate on end on a high shelf as calories are heavy and fall to the bottom, just break of bottom two squares and give them to someone you dont like
.all this valued information was given to me by my grandmother who was tiny so it works.:D

Hello!!!!
I quit yesterday at 1pm and I'm feeling great!!!!
I have been attending the smoking clinic for the past month and yesterday was Q-Day! I have been cutting down and have now gone over to the gum (ick)!
I actually had to finish my last 2 ciggies yesterday so although I quit yesterday, today is my 'official' Quit day.
I've decided to come and join you all here a keep a little list of 'stats'
I'll count ciggies not smoked and if a pack of 10 is £3, then each ciggie is 30p
So here are the stats since this morning:
Ciggies not smoked....3
money not spent.......£0.90
Good luck to everyone and keep it up!!!

Hi LP
If you look at post #1, you should be able to download a bit of software that keeps track of that stuff for you (or just type 'silkquit' in to your search engine of choice)
Stick around for loads of good advice and support, some laughs and the occasional row
Edit : hope you're better this morning MFD......
Hi to everyone else:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0 -
It's great seeing a stready stream of people taking the decision to stop smoking, hopefully whatever method you're using it works for you and remember that there's loads of support available on here.
I had a very weird dream last night, dreamt I bought 30 fags and when I woke up this morning I was so disappointed in myself, I felt like I'd let myself downreminds me of the old gag about the bloke who's wife woke up in a mood with him as she dreamt he two-timed her!!
For those taking Champix I'd advise taking it well before going to bed, I've only had weird dreams after taking it late (got caught up in the footy and forgot to take my second tablet after ny dinner)0 -

Hiya LP - welcome to the madhouse!
(keep away from feedum, she'll sing to you then make you eat chocolate)
(actually, keep away from doltage - he sings songs from the shows  )
(hmmmm - thinking about it ab sings 'I can see clearly now')
Looks like we may help you give up smoking but start you singing like a loon :rotfl:
Jo is still around somewhere - she keeps an eye on us
doltage -I had a dream about my ex telling me he was engaged last night and I so want to ring him and ask him if it is true. How can our dreams be so real? I am terrible for it, more than once I have been cross with DH for stuff I dreamt he has done :rotfl:
Feeling chilled today - just sorting stuff at work so I can wind down for my jollies :Tplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

On the downside I have put on 1 and 1/2 stone! But at least I don't get out of breath when I exercise now though!Quit Day - 12/03/08
Over £200 saved so far!
Thanks to Champix!0
