Good morning nikzGfx, jools10 and mrsmx5, you're more than welcome along here where hopefully you will find some extra support.

I hope you all join in and spend more time on here than thinking about smoking!

With the help of this thread and champix I've now gone 4 weeks without smoking, I'm counting tomorrow as my monthiversary (Hope I didn't spell that wrong!) and I can honestly say that I don't know what I was worried about beforehand, there have been times whan it was very difficult and I do expect a few more difficult times ahead before I can truly call myself a non-smoker but I know that the help and support you will get from this thread is second to none-whatever you're going through, there's a few people on here who have gone through it and came out the other end who are willing to help you out.

Thanks Doltage & My Fathers Daughter for your advice, I'm at work now usually by now I would of smoked about 2 ciggies, but I'm restraining going to the shop and purchasing them, just keeping my mind of them, getting through the 1st few days will be tough but after them it'll get easier with time. Trying to just use my will power at the mo, I've started a savings account purely to be used to deposit £3 a day 5-6 times a week, to see the amount I could save in a year or so from stopping smoking.

So is anybody celebrating any monthiversaries today :rotfl: Well done Waspeze, it's great to be able to say that, I'm counting down the hours until I can bounce about the house like a lunatic shouting at the top of my fresh, smoke free lungs "I haven't smoked in a month" 2moro night, just after the footy is when I'm 'officially' celebrating my monthiversary!
