Thanks for the words of encouragement! I am on the inhalator, so far I am finding it extremely strange, familliar yet different. Did anyone else get that?

Anyone else dreading their first afternoon sat in a beer garden, their own garden, a friends house, on holiday or whatever and not smoking :o

Awwwww bless, it's not so bad, really, for me I used to enjoy a passive smoke now and again but nowadays you have to seek the smokers out and that can just look creepy lol

One word of warning, for me smoking and drinking used to go hand in hand (literally - not a spare digit to pick my nose unless I wanted to risk singeing it too), so beware of swapping one dependency for another.

I avoided alcohol at first because I knew it was a weak time for me with the fags but when i finally did go out I found that without anything else to do with my hands (only so much nose to pick) I downed my drinks really really quickly and went through them like nobody's business. Of course a bottle of wine a day is cheaper than fags but can easily send you down the same road of difficulty giving it up. Thankfully I got a handle on it before reaching that point but I am always aware that it is a risk for me.
